We found this restaurant by chance as based on my first visit in Praha, I was not impressed by the restaurants and local food. We decided then to go with something different and I was really suprised when I received a positivie answer for my booking just 4 days before the desired date. We went for the 11 tasting menu... I arrived highly anticipating a culinary experience based on reviews......but left disappointed. I opted for the 6 course meal and wine pairing. Each dish was a pleasure to look at but was either bland or slightly odd flavour combinations. The wine combinations were ok but over priced considering over half were local Czech wines. I must point out that the... More

If you have some 3 hours and a few cs-crowns to spare : visit this restaurant and go for the degustation menue. It is neither cheap nor expensive: you get your money's worth in creative food, presented in breathtaking style by very charming service people. I find it impossible to describe in detail the 11 course meal, but the wife... More

I ate here this past weekend with a good friend who lives in Prague. It was an outstanding experience. We started each with a glass of champagne (brut or rose - we went for the brut) and enjoyed the series of amuse bouche that started things off. We debated and hemmed and hawed, but at the end chose the 11... More

I guess it is due to happen when you have heard so much good about a restaurant with a Michelin star in Guide Michelin- and also due to the fact that we were extremely impressed by another Michelin restaurant in Prague- the evening before this visit. The restaurant was nicely decorated but it was very loud and noisy- we were... More

LA DÉGUSTATION was highly recommended by our lovely friends from Belgium who travel to Praha often. My second line is I can finally answer positively to the question “is this one of the best meals you’ve ever had?” Always be sure to get a reservation, even if it is only 6pm! By 9pm, there is no chance at a table.... More

We had no idea when we walked in, but once you're seated, you quickly realize that this is going to be a Michelin caliber experience. There are only tasting menus on offer, per the restaurant name, there are lots of theatrics going on, including an open plan that allows near full viewing of the kitchen area from the dining area.... My wife and I plus a couple of friends had been privileged to visit this restaurant earlier in the day as part of the Taste of Prague tour (Highly Recommended) when we'd had the opportunity to look through their kitchens and discuss the principles and concepts behind this restaurant. We were so impressed with what we saw and heard that... More

This hotel holds a Michelin Star, the night we went was a taster menu night, not sure if it is most nights? We choose the 6 course taster meal, very small portions and slight odd courses. One was a crispy rabbit ear with other various things, one on a piece of pig skin. We did have some delicious trout and... More

We took the smaller of the tasting menus, which was a good choice because we were very full by the end! The meal was perfectly paced for us, and every course was lovely. The service was impeccable, and when they saw us trying to get a couples picture of the two of us together, they came over and took us... More
