Nice Vacation Treat

Went here on our first night of vacation for a special treat (mom and two daughters in 20's/30's). Coming from NYC and having eaten at some top tasting menu restaurants, our expectations were high, and we weren't let down. The service, presentation & quality were excellent, and the price point... read more

If this is the one of the two Michelin star restaurants in Prague, then it's a bit sad. We had the 7 courses menu, only the ox tongue was good, the rest were not worth to mention. I hope they put more effort on the taste than the presentation. The ambience is very nice and service is attentive, but in... More

This amazing restaurant was two doors from our hotel. My son booked it and as he is vegetarian, checked first that they could cater for him. They could indeed. The vegetarian degustation menu was AS good as ours. We chose the shorter menu with matched wines and came away well sated and quite "merry". The food was exceptional, interesting flavours... More

We choose this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. We booked in advance via e-mail as we wanted to eat quite late in the evening (10 PM). The food may be based on recipes from the 19th century, but the preparation, presentation and taste was certainly modern and innovative. Overall one of our very best food experiences.

What a wonderful find in Prague. We had the 11 course tasting menu and it was extraordinary. A must visit for any foodie! The wine pairings were perfect. The staff was casual, friendly and very informative. Try and sit by the open kitchen if you can.

This place shows what Czech food can be when someone who cares is at the helm. Unashamedly Czech ingredients such as cabbage, river fish, game meat, pumpkin and ham are combined with exceptional attention to detail and to flavor. The suggested wine pairing shows that Czech wine can compete with the more established regions and come out head held high.... More

Let's be honest - Czech cuisine at its heart is not the most sophisticated or refined compared to say French cooking. It is simple, delicious, rustic cooking. La Degustation is bold effort to change all pre-conceptions. Based on old Czech recipes, the chef here is re-inteprating Czech dishes in a modern, refined way. You get to choose between a short... After studying the form guide for eateries around continental Europe, La Boheme certainly attracted our attention. Booked 4 months in advance, and we were not disappointed when we got there. Fine ambience with matching clientele, so dress "up" as it feels good!! 11-course degustation menu was innovative and turned out to be a gastronomic trip into outer space. All this... More

What a place for a special evening out in Prague. We enjoyed an 11 course meal that was just divine. The experience was well worth the expense. We just enjoyed every last course and the attention to detail and the level of service. The plates were works of art. The food inventive and surprising. It was simply amazing and something... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
