This wonderful little starred Michelin restaurant was delicious from beginning to end. We had the smaller 7 course offering with wine pairings and was completely satisfied. The food was creative, beautiful and delicious. Service was equally excellent. We were also pleasantly surprised about how good the Czech wines are. When in Prague, don't miss this little gem!

The 6 course tasting was our choice. We did select the wine pairing. We chose the uni e pairing. Bad choice. Everything was so good. The servers were attentive without disturbing our dinner. Great

I was very glad to get a table at this very popular restaurant as this place was full on a week night. We chose the chef's menu (11 dishes and more!) and were amazed by the creativity of the chef. A lot of love and care was put to every dish, prepared to perfection. The wine pairing was excellent as... More

One of 2 M-1-stars in Prague at the moment, 38 seats, perfect for nice evenings with innovative food (degust.), superb sommelier, exceptional service, a bit posh, but able to provide you with great experience and memmories. Fully recommended.

We normally do not visit fine dining restaurants but decided to splash on a dinner as we were celebrating our anniversary. Otherwise we're not that crazy about silverware and servers watching your every move. But La Degustation was a relaxed, familiar experience with creative dishes and wonderful flavors. Who knew Czech food could be that good? Definitely recommended.

Me and My partner had eaten at several 1 star restaurants before la degustation and was expecting a certain level. La degustation delivered to all our expectations. The service was imaculate from the start to the end. After trying the local cousine in Prague we where not expecting to much when it came to "definitive" tastes campared to other food... More

This is a modern, very elegant interior in an historic building. Table setting gives you sufficient privacy. We were a bit surprised because there was no à la carte menu, only two set menus of 6 or 11 courses (with some extra canapés). The restaurant didn’t mentioned this when we made the reservation. Officially the cuisine is Czech but forget... More

We had this place recommended by my wife's colleague, and were lucky enough to get a set with only 2 hours advance. Fantastic food, fantastic wine - and the service attentive and personal. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Prague. Go for the full 11 courses with wine pairing!

We're a young couple who have dined in Michelin star restaurants before but never with a taster menu. I skipped lunch and we went with the shorter menu, it was more than enough food, we were both so full by the end. We probably shouldn't have eaten all the bread! (The waiter did warn us!) Our favourites were the carpaccio... More

When a restaurant has a Michelin star, it has to live up to high expectations. We ate there on Easter night and had the 6 course menu and wine pairing. As you would expect, the presentation was innovative (loved the "stone" platters for the amuse bouche), the quality was excellent, the tastes were complex, and the service staff were very... More

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
