A group of six of us having been dining in Czech establishments every night for the last five nights in the new/old town areas of Prague. The eating of Czech food we concluded was what one should do when in the Czech Republic. On the basis of this limited sample we can say that the food at this restaurant was... More

As we were walking through Prague, we passed U Ceskych Panu restaurant, and noticed their special's board. We were enticed by Goats Cheese, drizzled with honey and walnuts on a rocket salad with balsamic dressing. Upon entering the restaurant, we were lead down a spiral staircase to what looked like renovated cellars. The atmosphere was very medieval, with low lighting... More

Our family of two couples had dinner and drinks. We enjoyed our meals and the historic underground building lent a medieval atmosphere to our dining. Restaurant has non-smoking section.

Was totally surprised to walk in here at 5.45pm on a weekday to find so many people inside eating. Great food at a very reasonable price which seems to attract both tourists and locals. Very attentive waiting staff who serve with a smile. Would recommend.

On several occasions we have visited the site over the past three years, I've always had excellent service parts. Polite waiters, very good food, giant portions knuckle, cold beer and still very accurate accounting! 1-2 minutes a Wenceslas Square, in a medieval-style restaurant and wine cellar design. Prices are mid-range. I would recommend either for business or for couples in... More

I visited here for lunch on my first day in Prague. It is situated just of Wenceslas Square and inside it is calm and dulled, creating a peaceful atmosphere. I ordered Chili Beef Goulash in Bread, the goulash was very nice but the bread wasn't to my taste, however it was good value for money. And it is a good... More

Service was impeccable but more over the food was 100% delicious, full of flavour, perfectly seasoned and more than enough of it.Two course for the wife and I,plus a couple of drinks, all for under £30. When we decided to visit again it was pouring down and we arrived drenched but it was well worth it.

I booked this before our arrival in Prague as a birthday dinner for my boyfriend. I'll be honest; I thought I was booking the other medieval restaurant. We arrived and were shown to our seats and my heart fell. All the room is, is a cellar with one or two suits of armour and no medieval servers etc. so there... More

We had a lunch with my husband in this restaurant and enjoyed it a lot. The restaurant is located in Prague center in a medieval cellar with a truly intimate atmosphere; it was just a bit cold this time of the year. We both had potato soup with mushrooms. Then I had a very nice steak tartar and my husband... More

We visited the restaurant to celebrate new years eve. We made the decision based on the restaurants add. They promised “mediaeval atmosphere in clothing as well as entertainment” but they did not deliver. The entertainment as well as the atmosphere did not impress us. Food was ordinary.
