Fresh Pasta, great wine pair and lovely atmosphere

Great atmosphere, long walk from the top to the bottom level - walked past the pasta making station made us hungry. I had the minestrone soup and vegetable lasagna which both were excellent. Also tasted their black truffle gnocchi which was wonderful as well.

We read TripAdvisor for restaurants and chose Pasta Fresca from its reviews, but we must've caught them on a bad day because it was very average. I had the carbonara and my wife had the veal, the food wasn't terrible but it was by no means good either, quite bland. Very extensive menu though. The waiter was terrible, no greeting... More

The restaurant is off the street but well advertised. We arrived looking for dinner for two and were efficiently and politely welcomed. The food was lovely, well cooked and presented. Not table creaking portions but filling and delicious. I would indeed return and probably book to ensure a table. they do very good value lunch offers but dinner was good... More

We had lunch there today after a busy morning. Had a wonderful Caesar salad followed by two pastas. The service was prompt and warm - we would definitely go back!

Didn't need to book. Walked in at 9pm on a Sunday night. Seated downstairs where it was very hot. Liked the way you could see the pasta being made on the way down. Service was good. Food was tasty but your basic Italian. Would recommend the spinach tagliatelle. Bill came to 1,300K after three courses, alcohol and other drinks. Easy... More

Excellent Italian food but the dining room is in the basement. A little crowded, hot and very noisy. Too bad, the food was great.

The restaurant is a little bit pricey but made in an old fashion italian way. The bathrooms are incredible clean and the restaurant well decorated. The food was very good and the service quite excellent. An overall good value for money.

This restaurant was recommended by a "local." It was good, not great. Our seating was downstairs and the atmosphere was casual and somewhat generic. The place was very crowded and our service was slow. However the pasta was very fresh and tasty and we enjoyed the antipasto platter. Prices were very reasonable. I would recommend this to anyone who is... More

One may not notice the small entrance to this restaurant and may easily give it a pass assuming it is a small random restaurant. But one you are there you are totally surprised at how big it is in the basement. Nice and cozy with great service and food, The waiter made us try some 6 types of wines before... More

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
