Great food

We came across the Aioha by chance whilst visiting the Jewish district. Lunch was great (spinach and goat's cheese risotto and octopus salad) and good value. FOH were very welcoming and friendly. Had a few drinks. Pretty good. You know a good bar from their mojito. Upstairs is the bar and restaurant, and down stairs is the tiki bar and club. Good times if you're passing by.

We had two great lunches at Aloha, taking advantage of their business lunch specials. We were able to walk here easily from the Old Square, so it is slightly out of the touristy areas. The lunch area is cozy and appears to be popular with the locals, but is not the bar area shown in the photo on Tripadvisor.

Great bar and great food. Friendly a staff, tasty drinks, good music. Really good prices for bar in centre of Prague, just neat from old town square.

I have to reconsider my review, I found better places in Prague. I still consider the tropical drinks great, the service is little weak sometimes and I would say it lacks character, not in interior but more so when it comes to the crowd.

Usually end of my route through Dlouha and the other streets. Nice bar, with seating on the entry floor and bar/music in the under ground floor. Nice cocktails, reasonable prices, lots of people to meet ;-)

Staying in Josefov

Neighborhood Profile
Josefov
Josefov houses Prague’s Jewish community. This small neighborhood centered around Široká street is completely surrounded by Staré Město (Old Town). As the former Jewish Ghetto, today all that remains are a few synagogues and the oldest surviving Jewish cemetery in Europe. The narrow streets were once small enough that a person could touch the houses on both sides. You can still feel the dignity and history this neighborhood carries in its legacy as Franz Kafka’s birthplace. Nearby streets are full of kosher restaurants, museums and antique bookstores.
