A complete dining experience

The food, service and view are all brilliant..... actually the view is not brilliant, it is exceptional. On a clear night you overlook the lit monuments which is very special. I recommend making a booking in advance as the roof top terrace only seats 20 tables. The food is on the more expensive... read more

I only wanted a light dinner so I ordered the ox tail soup. This was okay For desert I ordered the fruit dumplings and it was amazing. It's worth coming here even if it's just for the dumpling and some tea

We turned up without a reservation as we were staying close by, luckily they accommodated us, views were fantastic as we sat through sunset, our view was the castle and St Nicholas Church other views are out over the whole city but it's a small rooftop space. Food and service were excellent

A delicious meal with spot on service! We did the Czech tasting menu; Every course was perfectly cooked, tasty, beautifully presented, and served with professionalism and grace. It was rainy, so the terrace was closed, but the food and service were worth it. A great date night!

An amazing meal which was very reasonably priced - dare I say it, even quite cheap if you are used to dining in London! We were lucky enough to get a table on the roof terrace with its amazing views. Early booking is essential and well worth it for the quality of the food and service.

We were fortunate to be able to dine here, albeit it had to be earlier than we would have liked. This restaurant is very popular so booking in advance is essential. We had a superb meal. The waitress was charming and very helpful and I would recommend a visit here for delicious food and ambience.

The food was fine, but the real star here is the view. You can't beat it. On one side you have the city of Prague from on high while on the other side you have the beautiful gardens of a villa. The service was great and, as I said, the food was pretty good, but both are sideshows to the... More

Outstanding. Book your reservation early, as the restaurant is small and fills up quickly. An evening meal on the restaurant's roof top terrace will be a highlight of your trip.

Food was delicious, service was excellent, view on the rooftop deck was breathtaking. I had a salad & the organic chicken over risotto & both were wonderful. A perfect experience. Try to get there just before sunset to see the castle, the Petrin Tower & the churches in both the daylight & at night when they are lit up.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
