Great atmosphere and unique experience

Food was good quality and certainly mid to high for Prague but was a unique experience. Beer and wine was fairly priced. Set in an old underground cathedral it's a nice getaway from the streets. Advice if you're a couple they try and sit you next to another couple on a 4 seat table which was the... read more

We walked past this place a few times and returned for our final lunch in Prague. Awesome building and location, great service and fairly priced drinks etc. However the food was a let down. The chicken appeared and tasted like a microwaved breast chopped into cubes thrown into pasta, devoid of flavour. My partner ordered a beef and dumpling dish... More

If you want to escape the crowd, find your way to this nice underground restaurant, in arched ceiling made of stones. Very cosy feeling, and the food is simple and good. We will come back.

We order the prague gulash and the beef with traditional cream sauce, nice dishes to experience prague cusine but the traditional sauce was too much and heavy. The decoration is really nice and the waiters were nice too.

I enjoyed everything about this restaurant from the feel of eating in a cellar to the flavor of the food. I had the goulash which I thought was prepared very well. The beef was very tender and the potato dumplings side was very good. The meal may have been expensive according to Prague standards, but coming from the US I... More

The restaurant is in a cellar complete with stone arches; the only thing missing were flaming torches on the wall and possibly some torture devices. If I make it sound a little creepy, it was, as we were the only customers in the place even though it was what would normally be the lunchtime rush. Perhaps this was because the... More

We visited on a Saturday in December. The room was hot and poorly lit, the music was too loud, service was poor. The many was nothing special, and much more expensive than other restaurants we visited in Prague, even though the food was no better. I wouldn't recommend when there are some many other great restaurants to try.

The restaurant is situated in a lateral street and inside a courtyard, thrn a bit difficult to find. The ambient is nice, with low lights and different rooms for private dinner. Food is nice and well served, some vegetarian dishes are also present. Beer is great, like in many places in Prague. Absolutely suggested, also for a romantic dinner.

A very busy place with good food, good service and a cool space. We ate and then talked and drank for hours, never felt rushed or forgotten. There was Ten of us and everyone was happy from start to finish. Klub Architektu is worth the time and the price.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
