Lovely little hidden treasure!

The outside bar is tucked away in the pretty little courtyard near the entrance to the Bethlehem Chapel. Although we only stopped in for a beverage, it is a lovely respite away from the crowds. Good service and nice bar.

This was one of the true hidden gems of our recent trip to Prague. Hidden in the sense that it takes some time and advice to find it if you are simply using a city map. It is an extremely worth while trip. The food is amazing, the service is wonderful, and the setting is very unique. We had a... More

We just returned from a week-long family vacation in Prague where we experienced record temperatures of 92-100 degrees (average summer temperatures 70-75 per most internet sites). We found Klub Architektu in our Rick Steves guidebook, and thought a cellar location would be a nice escape from the heat. The restaurant was beautiful, cool, and quiet with light jazz in the... After almost two weeks of heavy, traditional Czech dining experiences, it was a delight to have some very good but lighter offerings. We enjoyed salads, salmon, and goat cheese along with Czech beer and the lovely traditional bread. Unfortunately several items were out, including gravlax, so fresh delicious fresh salmon was substituted. The restaurant seems to be almost hidden in an... More

Very quick service and amazing food. Asked for traditional food and really enjoyed their advice. It looks like an old cellar inside.

Restaurant is in the basement of an old building and gives very original feeling to the place. Food is good for the price. Nice place for dinners and lunches.

Klub A is in the basement of a building. However, don't be afraid, its not like the basement of your childhood. This is a cellar of old; brick arches and such. The table lights can be adjusted to a suitable height. Prague was blistering hot (90+) but the dining room was cool. Food was excellent and the prices reasonable -... More

I booked this restaurant on a friends recommendation and it was just a wonderful evening. The building is amazing, staff went beyond the call of duty! We had booked a table for 10:00 p.m due to a late flight from London - our flight was delayed - I called the restaurant and they said just to try and get there... More

If you like windows, this is not the dining experience for you, but if you'd like to try something different, the dishes by cavern candlelight are tasty. We ordered a Pork Cutlet dish and Goulash, both which are traditionally Czech. The presentation was anything but, served with a new spin. Fresh, flavorful, and playfully presented, we enjoyed our dinners. The... More

The combination of twelfth century cellar, industrial looking fittings and candlelight makes for a different, and atmospheric, setting at this restaurant. It was quite busy on the Sunday evening we went but unfortunately the wait staff didn't manage the diners very well. Service was unpredictable:-) we waited a while to be offered menus, orders at the table next to ours... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
