The desing of the restaurant is really nice but that is the only nice thing it has.The staff was very rude. We made a reservation for Christmas Eve. The waiter made us wait in the stairs for no reason since the place was empty. as we noticed probably it was something they were doing to almost everyone to show that... More

Really lovely setting undeground, very relaxing atmosphere. the menu made the food sound more interesting than it was to eat! Asked for jug of water and were told they could only serve bottled. No price for it on the menu and when Bill came it cost £6. Water should not cost more than wine! Felt a bit conned by this... More

This was the first place we ate when visiting Prague. Not knowing what to expect, we wandered down into this basement and I was blown away by how much character this place had. It felt like eating in a beautiful old brick cellar. We ordered the classic Czech dishes and a few glasses of wine (the alcohol was so cheap!)... More

Being absolutely starving, me and my girlfriend decided to short-circuit the usual restaurant search, and just go with the first place we saw. This place confused us somewhat because the impression one could get from the entrance, interior, the waiter and atmosphere could lend itself to innovative concept food or students' gastropub etc. However expect nothing fancy here - It... Beautiful location and great food. A little treat if you want something not expensive but good quality. We were recommended by a friend and not disappointed. Food was great, service good and the underground cave location added to a good meal. Only criticism would be the tables were a little close for comfort so not ideal for that romantic night... More

We walked past several times during our trip to Prague and ended up here one night due to the vegetarian curry on the menu and not much choice elsewhere. Staff pleasant and food fairly good although my other half was disappointed as the beef goulash wasn't available. Good value for money but just lacking a little atmosphere being underground but... We walked past this restaurant a couple of times on our holiday in Prague, and liked the look of the menu. It is lighter than the traditional Czech cuisine that we had been sampling. Situated downstairs, with a vaulted roof, I thought the lighting was a bit dark and I had difficulty in reading the menu, but maybe it is... More

I loved the interior of the restaurant - absolutely! It' s like in basement and with very nice light. I wasn't very hungry so I didn't eat meat or something else heavy. I had pasta with tuna. It was okay. Nothing special really but light (that's what I wanted, right). My friend had czech gulas and that looked amazing. Nice... More

It worth a visit! This restaurant is very nice! The environment is amazing. Great food ( please taste the beef with apple cream sauce!!!), waiters attentive, good wine and wonderful deserts. Price is ok ( not expensive, even too cheap). You must go!😉

A pleasant spot in a nice, but not too touristy, part of Prague. This "cellar restaurant" really is just that - a really neat, vaulted cellar, which looks pretty authentic to me (no expert!). The service was professional and efficient. My guidebook had described the food as "Czech modern", well it was modern but there didn't seem anything specifically "Czech"... More
