Great burgers, great desserts in the center of Prague

This place makes some of the best burgers I tasted in Prague. I had a gourmet burger with meat and portobello mushrooms and fries as a side dish. Yum! The desserts are mouthwatering. The place is located in the center behind Palladium shopping center. The prices offer good value for money. The bill... read more

Ate here on our first night in Prague as it was near our hotel.... Brilliant find! We were seated and our orders taken quickly. The food was really good, great flavours on the burgers, and fries were really tasty. Extremely good value for money. I'd absolutely recommend this place for a relaxed, tasty and value-for-money meal.

This place was recommended to me by a friend and i can assure you that i have traveled the world and the seven seas and i have never enjoyed a burger this much in my life! The bacon burger or blue cheese burger is out of this world. Make sure to try the cheese tacos. They serve between 11 a.m... More

We shared a few different kinds of burgers and they were good. Best one we tried was the Royal Bacon. The fries were good too. We weren't crazy about the truffle fries, but maybe we're just not that into truffle. What we did really love is that there was no smoking (a major plus!!) and the service was excellent. Everyone... I came across the Palanda café by accident passing by in the small street at the end of a walk on the way back to the hotel on Na Porici. Intrigued by the packed place, I checked on TA and found out that Palanda has the reputation of being the local “Burger King”. And it is. This Old traditional setting... More

My friend recommended this restaurant and I visited here march 2015 with 3 friends. Overall the quality of the burger was good. I think the beef patty could have been a little bit better, as well as hamburger buns, but overall it was veary good. Also homemade fries were very good. I would recommend this place for someone who likes... More

We walked passed on the way back to the hotel, made a note of the name and looked it up on TA, so expectations were high going in. We arrived around 9 and it was packed but we only had to wait a few minutes for a table, right under the air con fortunately as it's very warm. Service was... More

This restaurant was located just around the corner from our hotel, and had we found this little gem sooner I think we would've gained several kilos during the trip in spite of all the walking we did in this beautiful city. The burgers were fantastic, as well as the fries, beer and relaxed atmosphere. The only thing we didn't like... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
