Beautiful, Parisian style cafe with great cakes

The cafe itself is very beautiful and provides a relaxing atmosphere. The food was good but not great. The cakes were amazing; try the coconut cake! Service was okay- usual Prague style service.

After reading the reviews I thought the cakes would be great and have to say I was a little disappointed. They did look wonderful so I asked which the most popular was and had a slice. It was a huge slice of cheesecake and looked terrific but lacked taste. I think another Reviewer said the staff were arrogant................. my friend... More

Quite nice cafe to have for example breakfast / lunch and prices were pretty reasonable. I have to say that the staff wasn't super friendly, but got to realize that it's the same pretty much everywhere in Prague.

This is a large quite grand modern cafe which was very busy at new year , the problem we found on our 2 visits is that they make out that the tables are reserved and it is full , we had to be very insistent that we were sitting at one of the empty tables wether they liked it or... More

One of the most famous glamour cafes in Prague. Our friends love this place, and we have visited this place for several times, still I didn’t understand why it is so popular. Food is not tasty at all, waiters are disgruntled and lazy. I didn’t have such tasteless cakes anywhere else in Prague. A week ago we went to this... More

I've visited Cafe-cafe two times so far. It is popular mainly because of the delicious cakes they offer. The service is very nice and the atmosphere and interier of the restaurant is just perfect. This place is definitely worth visiting!

Very nice interior, decent coffee and delicious cakes. Staff wasn't really friendly, super neutral and boring. People queuing around the entrance, starring desperately at all tables, waiting for someone to leave. Overall it was nice, but it's not like I was amazed. Maybe I expected too much after hearing about this place a lot. Good, but not sure if I'd... More

Chic and trendy café just close by the shopping street. Great coffee and tea, I recommend the green tea with jasmine flavour. Beautiful cake menu. Perfect for the Sunday walk or shopping.

Very nice and detailed, it offers a nice selection of food, aperitifs and overall good service! What I like the most is the modern design. Of course a little bit busy, but that is also a synonym of quality!

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
