Loved the character and quaintness of this restaurant. We wanted classic Czech food, and I had beef, and my daughter had ribs, but no sides come with the main so we also ordered croquette potatoes which came in ball shape, and creamed spinach. Very nice food, which we enjoyed. The value was not bad either. Only reason I am not... More

We ate here on the first night of a recent trip to Prague. The food and service were good and I liked the rustic atmosphere. I was glad to be able to get grilled vegetables since the last time we were in Prague in 1992 there was definitely a lack of fresh fruit and veggies. We were disappointed with the... More

Our traveling party of 5 were looking to eat local quisine and this restaurant was recommended. Down the alley, around the corner, out of the way, but WOW, great atmosphere, great food with a good menu with lots of variety and the service was excellent. Menu was written in English as well as Czech and German and portions were very... More

I ate in this restaurant with my boyfriend; we tried two different dishes based on meat and they were both really good; we also had chips and a dessert, together with a (of course) gambrinus beer. Everything was good, The waiters kind and the check very cheap!

It would be wise to make a reservation since we saw many people getting turned away because the restaurant was full. Waiter was very friendly, attentive, polite and even spoke some English. The reasonably priced food was excellent, the pork knee (perfect for two) was delicious, also the substantial House Salad was unique and tasty. Along with the amazing food, it... More

We loved our dinner at Mlejnice so much that we actually returned for lunch before leaving town! The service is fantastic and the food is delicious...they have a huge menu and everything that we tried, from the goulash to the ribs to the pork knee, was excellent. Get your reservation early in the day - they book quickly!

Located in a small alley, old fashioned hall, but 2-3 minutes walking from the Vaclavske avenue. The goulash was the best I tried in my visit to Prague, totally worth it and very cheap. The shnitzel was also a high class.

Food is great, prices totally ok, only what I didn't like is service in restaurant in Kozna street, but it is not a reason for not visiting or mark lower than 5!!! When you try the food you would forget the service! Go there and enjoy!!!

The first time four of us ate at the restaurant the food was good, it was reasonable and there was a good atmosphere. The second time we visited we had booked a table for 8.15. We turned up on time to be told that they had made a mistake and reserved our table for 6.15? They said they had no... More
