I tried goulash here, it is good! Atmosphere and service are also great. Make sure that you have reservations if you want to come here after 7PM. Me and my boyfriend had luck, but everybody who came after us had to wait for the table - the right sign that this is a good place!

Small place, right next to the old town square, good food, nice portions and the price was right… just beware of the blueberry sauce… your teeth will be black! Worth it… 

I agree with other reviewers about the superb, authentic food. THE GOOD : I had a very nice veal dish, which came with lovely dumplings. I also ordered soup and two beers. A full, value-priced meal. THE BAD : Bring a good map, as this restaurant is well hidden on a side street, yet only 50 meters east of the... More

Service was friendly and swift, food was delicious and reasonably priced with very generous portions! A lovely atmosphere and an absolute must if you are staying in Prague, by far the best place we ate during our stay.

Friends from Viking cruise recommended place. Absolutely outstanding! I had herb chicken. Wife had chicken schnitzel. Both were great. My chicken came with vegetables. Tasted like they were just picked in the backyard! Service attentive and friendly. We'll go back before we leave. If anyone has a similarly great place to recommend...pls do!

Great location hidden just off the crowded streets near the astronomical clock. The meal was good and well priced. The decor is fun - old farm implements. We lucked out as they turned away a lot of customers while we were eating - mostly Asian- it must be listed in a popular Asian guidebook .

Unlike other restaurants that serve huge portions, this one had just enough to satiate us. Fairly expensive for the amount of food, I'd say. The service is OK (we spoke English, but also heard the same waiter speaking German to other customers). Some may be amazed of the rustic decor, but I've actually seen many of the exhibited tools in... More

This is a great find. It's up an alley just off Old Town Square. It's worth looking for though. Fast and efficient service and great food and beer. All at affordable prices for its location. I've eaten a few roasted pig knees in my time and this was up there with the best. There was enough meat there to feed... More

Had lunch here with 6 friends on a very busy summer Saturday. Menus in English were provided, staff also spoke English. Despite the fact that the restaurant was packed, service was fast and polite, food was fresh and delicious. Bread and drinks were refilled quickly. Prices were very good considering the area (and much lower than right in the square).... More

Came here for dinner while in Prague as we wanted some local cuisine and saw this place highly rated. Cracking Czech cuisine, all rustic in a nice rustic atmosphere as well. Good selection of dishes to choose from all at reasonable prices. Again just off main square, but just out of the way to avoid the tourist trap vibe.
