Would recommend this restaurant for lovely traditional Czech food but don't expect a smile from any of the waiters. My husband had the Goulash and some nice Czech beer which he absolutely loved. I am Coeliac and the waiter was quite dismissive of my questions however I did enjoy my pork and vegetable kebab with only seasoning no sauce. Decor... More

The restaurant is placed in a hard location for tourists to find. this kind of works for their favor because it makes the place private and quiet. once you enter you can see a classic wooden bar and tables, decorated with a woolen tools. The food was very very good, and each dish was special in her own way. We... More

My husband and I are all for living on the cultural cuisine when we visit a new place, but sometimes we just want some fresh greens. This restaurant had wonderful, creative, huge salads! We got a couple traditional starters, our two salads, and a few beers all for a very reasonable price. The waitress was great and the atmosphere was... More

Ate here twice during our trip. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients used in every dish, and the portions are quite large. The ribs at this restaurant are some of the best ribs anywhere in the world (this includes Memphis Tennessee). The gnocchi is just beautiful and completely addictive. We will... More

Went here for lunch on our first day in Prague.... a fantastic welcome to the city. We had a couple of beers and admired the country farmhouse style decor while we (and several others) waited for a table, which the no nonsense (but pleasant enough) waiter found after 10 minutes or so. My wife ordered a grilled pork and vegetable... More

Really enjoyed eating here twice during my visit to Prague. The first time was excellent, the second was very good but not quite as good as the first visit. The pork tenderloin kebab was one of the best meals I ate on a month long trip around Europe. The apple strudel is a must have!

No spare tables at Mlejnice next to the square so the waiter directed us to their other restaurant 400m away. Same name, menu and great food. Pork knee with a side order of their special potatoes washed down by Czech beer. Delicious!! Can't wait to go back.

The owner of our apartment recommended this restaurant which was just outside our back door. We went one rainy night and had a great meal. We shared a pork knee (similar to pork shank) and a side order of potatoes. We took the night off from drinking beer and ordered the house wine instead. The pour was very generous. All... More

My boyfriend and I liked it so much the first time that we came back a few days later. Delicious pork, I loved Gambrinus beer, and we loved that Czech food and beer is so cheap! An adorable atmosphere and the waiter was nice.
