Andel serves traditional meals with a good service and a smile. Some a rarely on menus. The dill soup is not a visual delight but tastes good. The beer cheese starter is strong and surprising. Main dishes are rich.

To be honest we never had a bad meal in Prague but this restaurant was very near our hotel and opposite the Andel metro so we thought we would give it a try. Whilst the menu is not plentiful the choices are sufficient and the food was delicious. The place was very busy with lots of locals but we did... More

We got married in Prague on Sat 31/05. The night before we have organized a rehearsal dinner for about 50 people in Plzensky Restaurant Andel, in their newly opened winter garden. We wanted to give our foreign guests a taste of a "czech culture" :-) And it was fantastic. I can't fault anything. Working with the restaurant manager Mr. Niznik,... More

Right across from the Andel tram and metro stops is this busy, local, reasonably priced and very Czech place. We loved it for lunch. There's an English menu, it's busy and buzzy and not at all upscale but you feel you are eating very good local food as you might at your hometown pub. Don't expect frills but do expect... More

Restaurant Andel has the best traditional Czech food at reasonable prices. Frequented by locals and located conveniently in the heart of Smichov, it offers lots of meat (mostly beef and pork)dishes with the usual dumplings and a variety of starters (the liver with onions is superb). The waiters are friendly and efficient, a good thing as the restaurant is very... More

Service was very professional, food was delicate and we sat outside in nice backyard. I have good experience with more food from this restaurant.

My wife and I ate here twice and i ate here once alone. This is a pub frequented by locals and it can become very busy. On one occasion, no table space was available when I wanted to eat later in the evening. The menu is extensive and an English menu is available, as are menus in other languages besides... More

The restaurant is located to opposite to the Andel metro station/mall, and serves traditional food. I had ribs and grilled vegetables with basil. Simple, delicious and heavy dinner. Plus peach poached in red wine for dessert. Friendly and quick service.

Great place. Salmon was good. But the lamb and the ribs where even better. 100% recommend. My wife and me asked for two with chicken wings and ribs. I recommend forget the wings and oh for the full ribs.
