Popped in for a drink before deciding where to eat.thought from reviews and menu didnt look bad.ordered steak and 'American wedges' along with cabbage and my dad ordered fish and boiled potatoes.all fine at the time of order-however food came out-two jacket potatoes which were burnt, steak was dry and tasteless and fish was more bone than fish-for over £10 for... service is mediocre and the beer was very disappointing, there are dozens of places within 10 minute walk which are much better, for example Kozlovna around the corner. Don't go to this place!!!

I was drawn in by the cute terrace dining area, which looked pleasant and attractive from the outside. When our orange juice was served, it arrived in half filled glasses. Mine had 5 small fruit flies in it – my friend's had 2. We notified our waiter who said "it's okay", before taking them away and returning with 2 more... More

Having tried the food in restaurants in the center this place was a good change to local food and atmosphere. Friendly staff and local people added with tasty food. I can only recommend the sour sweet sausage and the baked duck.

Andel serves traditional meals with a good service and a smile. Some a rarely on menus. The dill soup is not a visual delight but tastes good. The beer cheese starter is strong and surprising. Main dishes are rich.

To be honest we never had a bad meal in Prague but this restaurant was very near our hotel and opposite the Andel metro so we thought we would give it a try. Whilst the menu is not plentiful the choices are sufficient and the food was delicious. The place was very busy with lots of locals but we did... More

We got married in Prague on Sat 31/05. The night before we have organized a rehearsal dinner for about 50 people in Plzensky Restaurant Andel, in their newly opened winter garden. We wanted to give our foreign guests a taste of a "czech culture" :-) And it was fantastic. I can't fault anything. Working with the restaurant manager Mr. Niznik,... More

Right across from the Andel tram and metro stops is this busy, local, reasonably priced and very Czech place. We loved it for lunch. There's an English menu, it's busy and buzzy and not at all upscale but you feel you are eating very good local food as you might at your hometown pub. Don't expect frills but do expect... More
