We ate here twice on our trip to Prague over Christmas week, once in the pub and once in the "garden." The service was good, particularly in the Garden, and we were able to sample a lot of Czech dishes, all of which were tasty and filling.

Although the atmosphere is nice, they scam tourist with pricing fraud. In the Czech republic most of the restaurants menu prices contains the VAT (which is 21%), if it is not, it has to be printed on the menu. The Andel restaurant scam tourist with putting VAT on the prices of the menu, without mention this on any side of... More

I have been to this place many times and enjoyed my stay every time. Very authentic restaurant, noisy and vibrant. Food is typical czech and quality is way above average. Prices absolutely reasonable. The Pilsner Urquell here is extraordinary. Staff friendly and patient. Last time I have been here with a group of 18 and everybody was absolutely happy. Incredibly... The beef sirloin is a must try. The food was good and the service was quick. The price is quite reasonable as well.

A friend and I came out of the Andél metro looking for lunch. We saw the trip advisor badge on the door and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! My friend and I both had red currant lemonade to drink, delicious and refreshing! To eat I had the traditional sirloin with root gravy and bread dumplings... More

We came 5 of friends for a beer and dinner. At the beginning I said that I would have liked to mix cutting beer, which is half light and half dark. The waitress told me that he could ask, but from fears that the bartender does not want to do it. I told her that I can take two beers... More

We were attracted by the ham that was roasted right at the entrance, so we decided to go for it. Service is a little bit slow, but it worth wait for the dishes. I had a wonderful stake, the roasted ham with horseradish was delicious.

Been here a few times over the years. Previously, I couldn't complain about the food, but perhaps I simply don't remember it or wasn't sober. But my wife (she's Czech) and I ate here recently. We had a few starters and I have to say, the quality of food was pretty bad. And over priced. And we got attitude from... More
