Good traditional food

Went there with the people from my work. Very good traditional food, with big portions. Not a very variate menu, but plenty choices. Very interesting the wine dungeon downstairs.

I did spent here lots of dinners while my long stay in Prague, can just reccomend this place. in evenings this place is crowded, hard to find a place later, I do prefer to make a reservation in advance. In summer there is a private terrace. You get what you came for - traditional czech meals, very tasty and of... More

I came here about 5 years ago and decided to try it again on this visit, with different friends. The look of the place has changed a little bit and this time we sat in the glassed in restaurant area. We shared 2 starters between 4 of us - pickled camembert and the crackling butter and we really enjoyed those.... More

Called in, totally at random as we wanted to try some tradition Czech food, I can only say that both our meals were stunning, we waited a little longer than what i would normally consider acceptable, but not overly so, the meals had been cooked to order and surprised and delighted us on arrival at the table. Washed down with... More

First time at Andel's, visited 29th March, 2015. Had an exceptional wait staff (Mr. Mila) and a wonderful lunch experience: exquisite Pilsner beer; delicious South Bohemian dill soup; a strong beef broth and the traditional roasted duck with homemade dumplings (very well prepared, nicely presented and probably the best I have ever eaten). Moreover, one portion was a half od... More

Very pleasant pub with handsome and helpful waiters, good Pilsner beer, quiet atmosphere and relatively good prices. The food although looked nice and trendy wasn't as delicious as it should be. We had a deer tenderloin steak with hip sauce and dumplings and home-made meat-loaf baked in leaf dough. Deer meat was ok, sauce average, meat-loaf was oversalted and too... More
