We planned a trip to Prague for our first wedding anniversary and being a bit of a control freak I like to do as much organising in advance. I read reviews and this restaurant ticked all the boxes, great food reviews, not ridiculously expensive and amazing views. They offer an online booking facility via a third party so I set... More

We've eaten here three times over the years. Service has been good to excellent (this is a very popular restaurant.) Food has been very good to excellent. A great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Prague. The main drawing point is the unsurpassed vista of Prague. Petrin Hill provides you with an eastward panorama of the main part of... More

Booked a window table on-line before we arrived in Prague. Caught the No. 12 Tram near our hotel (Hotel General) and then the Funicular (up Petrin Hill) and off at the first stop (the next is the top) Wonderful views and a great night all round. Service was excellent, the food excellent too and the pianist brilliant. We shared a... More

Located half the way up the Petřín hill (Nebozízek stop), this restaurant was a very nice surprise, indeed. While we were certain that a restaurant in this location and with the stunning view of Prague would be very expensive, we were pleasantly surprised and the prices were very reasonable. We had a small lunch – 2 pastas and some drinks... More

Although beautifully located on the hill with great views, this restaurant could do better. The tiled floor and very dirty window where we sat next to make the place look rundown. The staff was friendly but where not making a great effort. The food was relatively nice, until my fillet of wild boar came on the table: plain dry. The... More

Visited on a Wednesday evening. Had popped in earlier on in the day and reserved a table in the window. It was ready for us when we arrived. Excellent views over Prague Castle and across the river. My partner had goulash soup and steak, I had chicken with potato and cucumber. Food was really tasty. For all this, including a... More

Ate here on our way down from observatory. Was really surprised at the quality of the food. Had pork risotto and it was just beautiful. One mark down because kids were let run about the place and the staff could have been friendlier. They definitely warmed up after a little while though. Would definitely eat here again.

Nebozizek is really nice location for both a quick beer or nice special dinner. The beer is not expensive for the place and food is very nice. The view is truly exceptional. Unfortunately, the stuff can we very rude (even for Prague place) and can damage the overall experience. But still, the prices are pretty friendly and the place is... More

We enjoyed a light lunch and afternoon beverage on successive days here. Views out over Prague were spectacular. Food and drink were modestly priced, given the scenic vistas available when eating. Like the weather, the service was a little frosty on the first day when a fairly cantankerous male waiter refused to let us have a window seat, despite the... More

Having visited Prague for the past 9 years on a regular basis I was pleased that we ate here on this most recent trip. I wish that we had tried this restaurant before. The meal was very good, service excellent and views fantastic. Our meals were very tasty, without being over filling like some of the hearty Czech restaurants we... More
