Firstly, I was surprised how cheap the food is. But than me and my friends find out the main reason. They just want to let you try more delicious portions of their food. Very smart and we really enjoyed it! We have ordered many starters and some main courses and were tasting approximately 6 different types of food. As I... More

I was here with a group of friends in July this year. It is such a lovely place, lots of old style wooden furniture and of course......candles. We chose it because some of us are vegetarians, some meet eaters, so it has the perfect menu for both. I had the cheese and potato pierogi, which were good, as good as... More

Our daughter and friends made reservations for us at this wonderful restaurant. We had a big table in the corner where we could observe the rest of the restaurant. The ambiance was excellent--they call it "the Candle Restaurant." Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

We came here after reading about it in a Lonely Planet guide, and it was one of the best places we visited in the entire city. It's a bit tucked away, but don't let that put you off – the charm and ambience of the place is just a MUST-experience. We tried the hot mead and mulled wine, both of... More

I found this small cozy restaurant just few weeks ago and it was perfect. Great service, I highly recommend to taste their home made cheese cake!! I can't wait to go there again. Only one thing, you can smoke after the kitchen is closed (after 11 pm) but I didn't mind to even go out for the cigarette :) I... More

Good location close to city center and only 2 minutes away from a metro stop. This restaurant offers an intimate atmosphere and a nice selection of unusual meals (we've had pies with cream, salmon on lentils and a swiss raclette - all of which tasted excellent. Wine selection was decent and staff was professional and attentive. They let our group... More

Nice cozy place with well executed hearty cuisine. Not sure that it is 100% typical Czech cuisine but the focus is on using quality local produce. We had the pork ribs, beef tartare and the daily special (which was venison) which were all done very well. Relatively good value for quality of the food. Be sure to book because it... More

Went there for the first time to try the fondue. It was well done and very tasty. Good basic wine selection and reasonable prices. Staff was friendly and attentive. Very cosy, expect it will be great when the weather gets colder. Will definitely go back again.

Kavarna Sudicka or Sudicka restaurant is located in the heart of Vinohrady, about 3 tram stops from the turistic center. The place offers an intimate/cozy atmosphere, the personnel is great, most of which speaks English, the food is great and the prices are affordable. It is my favorite place in Prague because it's good for a dinner with friends or... More
