My first stop here was a Friday evening, despite them being busy they let me sit outside at my own large table. Very rare in Europe during the summer. I ordered duck which was well prepared. The only complaint was a rude waiter who was completely incompetent and spent most of his time flirting with female customers and ignoring every... More

We spent 26 hours in Plzen and our last meal was lunch at Parkanu Pub. We both had salads and pilsner Urguell. The salads were exceptional and the beer was a good as it gets. It truly was fresh. Pilsner is more interesting to me then Bavarian Helles lager so being in Czech republic was a step up to Bavaria... More

I've eaten here twice during the last 6 months - both times I have to say the atmosphere was excellent. I cant say if this is a typical Czech restaurant or not but the food is very good (be aware, not one for a light eater) and the beer is really very good. It gets very busy and I was... More

We finished the museum tour there and had lunch - the typical Czech dumplings with cabbage and roast pork - really good food. The beer quality is supreme. The service could have been more welcoming though, seems a bit worn out and tired of tourists.

They have a direct connection to the local Pilsner brewery and you will drink "unfiltered" and "unpasteurized". Pilsner Urquell bit of difference. Meals are very good too. All is connected with real atmosphere of czech pub .

ok, so yes, the food was good, beer was great however…the service- not so much. We went to the restaurant right after visiting the museum next door. I wanted to make reservations for later that evening. The restaurant was not busy at all and I walked up to the bar where several workers were standing and not one of them... More

I had the chicken skrewer with potato pancakes, it was ok, basic pub food. It took quite long to get the food eventhough we were having an early dinner.

The attention was just ok. The food was better and the terrace is really really nice but it is really for tourists talking about prices.
