Excellent!

We choose the old bohemian feast for two people. It was the best meal I have ever had. The building is very old and beautiful. Service was nice. I recommend!

This is a really great medieval style venue offering authentic Czech cuisine. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The waitress did not try to hide her contempt for us tourists and service was quite rude. Worth a visit for the food and venue though.

Restaurant occupying an ancient tavern-looking building situated strategically along the Vltava and affording a great view of the castle. Offers traditional Czech fare prepared in the old, simple format. Authentic feel, even if it draws in many tourists.

A charming restaurants near the base of Cesky Krumlov's castle. The food was delicious, a large platter of different types of meat accompanied by vegetables and sauces. They didn't have a huge range of alcoholic drinks but there was plenty of beer, wine and vodka. They certainly don't hold back on the vodka! I have a number of food allergies... More

Martin from Pension Dolanta recommended this place for authentic food in Cesky Krumlov and it certainly was. We opted for the Bohemian feast platter with pheasant, rabbit, ham and vegetables.excellent. tried the hot mead but I don't think any of us liked that. Restaurant is inside a centuries old stone building up very narrow internal staircase.wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility challenges... More

I had a feast and the server was happy to prepare me combination of fish, chicken and ham. I really liked it as it was unusual and tasty. Large portions. I tried the mead as well. The waitress was helpful and unobtrusive, did not angle for tip. Free tap water. Lovely view and a history lesson as well!

we chose this small restaurant because of it's proximity to the river. The food was rustic Czech and really reasonable in price (cash only) The experience would have been a more enjoyable one, if the waitresses were welcoming and friendly. They are rude and like to ignore their customers unless they speak Czech You got the feeling that tourists are... More

My husband and I decided to have lunch here on our day trip to Cesky Krumlov. I'd already read reviews about it here and I'm glad we decided to go to this place. What really strikes you first is the beautiful setting. It's by the river and the view is stunning. It was such a beautiful setting for a meal.... More

We always look to enjoy non-American food while abroad. And,you can only put away so much sausage and cabbage. We often take photos of some of the most picturesque dishes we are served. I have to apologize for this photo of the Old Bohemian feast because we tied into it before I remembered to take a picture! In addition to... More
