We choose the czech plate for 2 people - plenty of food and it was tasteful. It is possible the only interesting thing on menu, the rest you can get also anywhere else

Down a little back street in the amazing village of Cesky Krumlov, you turn right into a medieval tavern right on the Vitana River (which flows to Prague) and head outside to wooden benches and a real food adventure. In a large wooden round tray, we had what is called 'Old Bohemian Feast'. It is a taster of chicken, ham,... More

The trout, and the celery cakes were quite good. Lots of veg options, too. Not very busy when we arrived but had to wait, wait, for everything. Desserts looked good but we figured we'd never get out of there if we ordered dessert. It took forever to get the check. They do have nice seating on the river so you... More

The 2 Marys is in a really old building, from the outside it appears to be leaning but upon entering it is quite safe and stable. Inside is quaint, very old, and a little dark.. but in a GOOD way...a very authentic feel that is quite atmospheric. The outside setting, right by the Vltava River, is very nice with great views... Excellent value for the food - they speak some English, so be prepared to point a bit - but they do have some English menus. Was unsure of the millet casserole, but tried (and LOVED) it. Great local cuisine and beer. Kind of fun, like a beer garden outdoor seating. You can watch people kayak (or swim) in the Moldau... More

We ate here twice and loved the Bohemian feasts! Location is fantastic with outdoor seating and a view of the river. Old medieval atmosphere adds to the ambience and the service was excellent. Great value!

This is our go-to place in Cesky Krumlov. It was originally recommended by a colleague as a place with "medieval cuisine" and a great atmosphere. We've been there both in the winter, sitting inside the cosy dining area on the second floor and in the summer, sitting outside with a great view on the castle, the river and the passing... More

Not friendly service and not great food. Had chickenbits and bohemian feast with pheasant and it wasn't much meat in any of them. The pheasent was dry and smelled funny. Would not go there again.

The guide said that this is the one of the oldest buildings in town, and you can feel it. Very warm and cozy place with lot of character. The food was nice and tasty. Be aware of huge portions - we ordered too much. The price was 2/3 from the Prague, so eat/drink well. really enjoyed it.

you will get undefinable something. For example if you order "topfenknödel wit blueberry sauce" you will get something like a blue soup with something pasta". We were 6 people, nobody liked the ordered food.
