This is a really nice place by the river where you can sit outside and have a good local beer. But the food was very dissapointing, the menu is full of vegetarians options and the few meat dishes they have are nothing very special. I definitely wouldnt go back to eat. On the other hand, if you are travelling on... More

The historian couple that own this small restaurant have done an amazing job researching and preparing meals that are representative of those that match the aged building in which they're located. The Bohemian vegetarian feast is a delight, and offers a variety of tastes and textures that are sure to please even meat-lovers. I had the opportunity to return with... More

The location is great—right by the river—though it was dark and raining when we ate here. The ambience and character of the Two Marys is fun: wooden benches that look like they have seen several hundred years of use. The servers were friendly. They seemed to be students who didn't mind doing daft things like standing on a stool to... More

This was my last meal in the Czech Republic, and I chose the 2 Marys based on a recordation from the place I was staying. I had the garlic soup and chicken bohemian feast. The soup was quite good. But the feat was fantastic. There were lots of flavours happening on the plate and I liked the millet and potato... More

The Bohemian vegetarian feast here is simply one of the most incomparably excellent meals I've ever had. And in a country not known for being vegetarian-friendly at that. The approach at this place is unlike anything I've sampled anywhere else (the closest comparison I can think of is Old Hansa in Tallinn, Estonia, if that's any help). It's medieval-themed fare,... This is a restaurant that was recommended from our tour guide of Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic. We took this tour here as an optional tour from our river cruise ship. We ate outside under a canopy overlooking the Vitava River. It was quaint, the building inself was very old and the doorways low. Of the 6 of us... More

We had too much meat during this trip so we tried some vegetarian dishes tonight. We had Kuba and baked millet casserole with cheese and a bowl of garlic soup. They were all tasty.

Got caught in the rain and ducked into this place along the river, not expecting too much. But the soups hit the spot, the local dark beer was quite good, and the canopies over the picnic table kept us dry. Recommended.

One of the best foods I have ever had. Sometimes I believe in reincarnation, I felt that the food at this place fulfilled my soul with joyce, I felt it was a deja vu. ,
