Popular restaurant in Grandhotel Zvon right in the main historical square. Great beer and excellent local cuisine. We prepare dishes from beef, veal and lamb from our own organic farm. Highly seasonal menu, only fresh ingredients mostly from small local (often organic) farms!

Good food - reasonable price.

Four friends all tried something different and this restaurant impressed even the pickiest amongst us. They even had one English Menu :D

I was very curious about this restaurant because I love this beer. The idea of drawing beer by yourself is very nice, but the beer wasn't so tasty like for example in Zvon and also it was more expensive. We ordered two garlic soups and Cheeseburger. All of it was disgusting. The garlic soup was so salty that we gave... More

We're finishing 3 weeks traveling thru Central Europe and have become accustom to the brusque, borderline arrogant service demeanor. But this waiter was downright rude and MEAN. After serving our beverages and giving us menus, he disappeared for a while so we stopped another server to ask a couple menu questions. When our waiter returned and we tried to order... More

The restaurant seems to feature a local farm to table menu with locally sourced products and their sources decribed on the menu in Czech, English, and German. first night I had a pretty simple, but tasty, salad with bacon and a beer. I speak no Czech, but the waiter was... More

We were four of us - family with kids (14years old) and had chicken breast for daughter, tartar meet for my wife and I had their special piece of Gem - beef boiled in bouillon with roasted potatoes noodles. The chocolate cake with ice-cream - all home made. And Pilsner Beer. We enjoyed it a lot. As a non-smokers we... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review of our restaurant. I am happy you liked our beer. As for the other thing, we prepare our dishes only from fresh ingredients, which we mostly get from small (often organic) farms of South Bohemia. We try to create an authentic experience of true Czech & Austrian cuisine. I understand that as it... More
