The best afternoon tea, each and every sandwich, cake and scone perfectly made. This is an extra special treat, and Cindy will even do you a doggy bag to take home what you can't eat.

Like stepping out of the tardis never ever visited this village. What a discovery from the majestic church to the small park, the old houses and the icing on the cake [pun] was the tearooms. One felt the women should be wearing chintz and bonnets it was a step back on how England used to be. Quaint atmosphere, wonderful pleasant... More

Proper traditional tea shop ambiance. The owners cannot do enough and the cakes, scones and savoury dishes are all home made and delicious. On its own makes us want to holiday in Norfolk again.

This was a special treat for my Husbands Birthday and he certainly wasn't disappointed. Cindy and Jamie did us proud. The attention to detail on the beautifully decorated individual cakes and the wonderful selection of sandwiches, were second to none. We have enjoyed high tea at a number of places in Norfolk, but none could match this. Add to that... More

Fantastic. The only place to go for tea and cake in Norfolk. Not that there aren't other places. And not to say they're not good. They're just not as good as Heydon.

Always wanted to visit these tea rooms and was not disappointed. The village is small but perfectly formed. Had a tasty light lunch of sandwiches and scones with a good pot of tea. A long wait but we were in no rush. Like stepping back in time. Was expecting to see miss marple walking down the street. We have already... More

The picture perfect village of Heydon has the best tea shop in Norfolk. We visited with our Anglo American granddaughter and she was as taken with the Norfolk cream teas as we always are. And extra hot water for the pot so that you get two to three cups per person. Still excellent in every way.

Last week my partner and I revisited this delightful tea shop and found it to be as wonderful as ever. Set in a quintessential English village, on a road that leads to nowhere, it is a place that anyone who loves a good strong cup of Yorkshire Tea coupled with a delightful selection of cakes should visit. I first stumbled... More

This teashop is in a delightful little village with lovely food. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The owners very kindly stayed open for us as we arrived just as they were closing and were in need of afternoon tea after a long days driving. The pecan brownies and shortbread were delicious as were the scones with jam and cream. Lovely... More
