Quite simply the best afternoon tea I've ever had. Yes the scones we're beautifully baked, as were the varied assortment of cakes and delicate scrumptious sandwiches, but it was the warm friendly service and overall atmosphere that made my birthday afternoon tea extra special. Heydon Village Tea Shop - what a gem!

One of the best afternoon tea's I have ever eaten & the service was delightful. The afternoon tea was tailor made to suit my friend's requirements as per prearranged. From the time I rang to book to the time we left was faultless. A perfect afternoon to celebrate a special birthday. Would highly recommend!

So lovely. Delicious scones and cakes. Really pleasant staff who make everyone feel welcome. Lovely setting opposite the village green, like stepping back in time, but it is really relaxed. I have turned up in my cycling clothes before, and taken my children there for cake. One of my favourite places for a little treat.

My Auntie recommended this place to me and my mum. We walked a little bit around the village before stopping off there. It's almost like it hasn't been touched since 1900! The staff were absolutely lovely and the food was lovely. I would certainly recommend that you go here.

Out on the bikes and this looked like a great place on the web so planned a meandering route around lots of country lanes and idyllic weather for the ride. We were greeted by a lovely picturesque village and a wonderful tea room. Very friendly and welcoming and great coffee. A fabulous place to stop and we will be back... More

The best afternoon tea, each and every sandwich, cake and scone perfectly made. This is an extra special treat, and Cindy will even do you a doggy bag to take home what you can't eat.

Like stepping out of the tardis never ever visited this village. What a discovery from the majestic church to the small park, the old houses and the icing on the cake [pun] was the tearooms. One felt the women should be wearing chintz and bonnets it was a step back on how England used to be. Quaint atmosphere, wonderful pleasant... More

Proper traditional tea shop ambiance. The owners cannot do enough and the cakes, scones and savoury dishes are all home made and delicious. On its own makes us want to holiday in Norfolk again.

This was a special treat for my Husbands Birthday and he certainly wasn't disappointed. Cindy and Jamie did us proud. The attention to detail on the beautifully decorated individual cakes and the wonderful selection of sandwiches, were second to none. We have enjoyed high tea at a number of places in Norfolk, but none could match this. Add to that... More
