Just an excellent little cafe with brilliant cakes and a great ambience and very nice people. All home made.
Reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and a location to die for. If you haven't been to Heydon it is worth the effort to visit this time capsule of a village. A great place for afternoon tea.
Went for a walk at Heydon last weekend, decided we needed something to warm us up so went into the tea shop. Small but plenty of seating. Vintage family run tea shop, so welcoming & polite. The Heydon Hot Chocolate was amazing, best me & my partner have had. My daughter also enjoyed the sausage roll & toasted tea cake.... More
I looked online for a tea shop in Norfolk and this one popped up. It looked lovely and the reviews were good so we put the address into the sat nav and off we went. Thank goodness for sat navs as we would never have found it otherwise. We eventually arrived at the very pretty village of Heydon and went... More
I would never have found this place on my own but so glad my friend had been before. Its a little gem, very simple inside but cosy and welcoming with a really good choice of cakes. We saw there was a cheese scone served with cream cheese and tomato/roast pepper salsa. Weird!! we thought but tried it anyway. It was... More
A quaint "English" tea shop full of charm, friendly service. Set in the lovely village of Heydon, complete with a country house. Unusual that all the crockery doesn't match, the chairs are odd, but it adds to the shops charm. They have a good array of cakes and scones, cater for people with dietary needs - offer soya milk and... More
Visited for the first time today. It is a beautiful little tea room and the Haydon Hot Chocolate was superb as was the Orio Chocolate Brownie cake. Don't take my word for it just try it! Really lovely!
A lovely little tea room set in a pretty English village. Service and food was great, and portion sizes are generous for light lunches (sandwiches, soup, tarts, scones, cakes). They also have an interesting variety of hot and cold drinks. Definitely worth the drive!
Been several times, always made welcome by very accommodating staff. They serve light lunches - jacket potatoes, sandwiches etc all very well made, tasty and freshly made. Excellent cakes. Great choice of coffee/teas.
We visited for afternoon tea today and so glad we did. The plain scones were the best I have ever sampled. A fabulous little tea room in a wonderful part of Norfolk - just like England used to be. Friendly staff and a dog friendly tea room - a big plus for us! Can't wait to return!
