Nice food, friendly staff, lovely view, family & couple friendly

I have been here many times in both the capacity of adult & child company & have found the staff very friendly & helpful with quick service & with the playground outside it's ideal for the children. In summer the outside area is ideal for a family get together and to drop in anytime is ideal. There... read more

Had breakfast here as part of my B&B deal in Ferrycarrig Hotel. Looking out over the water and estuary, the view was lovely. Prompt and good service in the breakfast rush. Food was varied and fresh. Loved the coffee.

A lovely hotel , overlooking the water , was the setting for a delicious morning scone tea. We had a table at the window , a most sought after table , with a marvellous view of the inlet. Tummy scones , delicious jam topped off with thick cream - who could ask for more !

Lovely food lovely ambiance all you need it someone lovely to share it with This hotel prides itself on service and the food is a little bit more expensive than other hotels locally however they do not compare to the standard of food you will receive at the ferrycarrig hotel.

Hotel is not very well maintained, heating issues and noisy, good location, but the hotel lets it down.

Ate here on first night of our stay and were disappointed. Vegetables were luke warm and had to be sent back. I ordered rack of lamb to be done medium to rare but it was more like well done and a bit on the tough side. At €37 for three courses it didnt represent good value.

staff only offer assistance as they feel like it. No one at the desk to seat guests yet there is a sign saying 'wait to be seated.'
