Absoloutely amazing meal

We booked in for a 3 course meal whilst staying at the hotel. There were 3 options for starter, mains and sweet all of which sounded delicious and didn't disappoint as they were exquisite. All the staff encountered were friendly and helpful. It was a tad on the expensive but you get what you pay... read more

Celebrating my sister's 60th birthday - my mother, two sisters and myself wanted to enjoy our dinner in a "child free" area (with all due respect we've raised ours and like to have long chats without interruptions from little voices). Reed Restaurant offer a choice of an "Adult Area" for dinner. This was a marvellous asset to an otherwise fabulous... More

Ate twice in the restaurant while we staying in the hotel. A beautiful setting for an evening meal. The first night we got a plum table looking out over the estuary. Food was a bit disappointing - on both nights my wife had different fish main courses - on both occasions, the fish was over cooked. Staff very welcoming and... More

Got the early bird menu and it didn't dissapoint. Staff were accommodating and pleasant. Had a table of 13 and all got their food on time. Good local fish and quality meat dishes. Didn't mind kids bring kids and were careful wit hit dishes. Great views and surroundings. Will be back.

We stopped off here for lunch on the way to the Ferry. The staff are welcoming and eager to facilitate families. The menu is great and the food is excellent. The kids meals are particularly good and not just the usual nuggets and fries.

Great food served in an upscale ambiance. Try the Guinea Fowl or the John Dory, both are great, the menu is fixed, three courses. For dessert, the cheese board is fantastic, don't miss it. The view of the river through the windows is phenomenal.

As a lone business diner I was made to feel at home. Food, setting and service excellent, not to mention the value. There were a few children running in and out of the main area but that did not spoil it for me being a father of 4! This might be annoying for some romantic diners of which there were... More

Best hotel meal I've ever had! This restaurant really deserves credit...It was the best part of our hotel stay. Ate here as part of our hotel package and enjoyed the meal so much. Goats cheese and confit of duck for starters which were both beautiful and beautifully presented. These were followed by two steaks cooked to perfection with a generous... More

Staying in the ferrycarrig hotel so we decided to dine in reeds on the first night. Seated quickly in a nice corner with a great view over the lake. Very friendly staff, food was delicious and cooked as we asked. The whole experience was worth the price. Will be recommending it.
