Not the easiest of places to find if I your not familiar to Ronda.... Especially after a long trek round the outskirts of the city. 7 of us enjoyed a superb dinner out at Meson El Sacristan.... the wine list was very extensive and showcased the excellent wines from Spain. The service was impeccable and very friendly. The owner himself... More

Dining here for lunch & dinner was fantastic!! Lunch outside facing beautiful Plaza. Exceptional service & advice from our waiter Andres. Must have something cooked in the wood oven, soup was excellent with a wonderful smokey flavor. At lunch we ordered our dinner, suckling pig cooked in wood oven (have to order 3 hrs. ahead). It was over the top... More

El Sacristan was recommended by the reception at the parador (and we did see good reviews on Trip Advisor). We were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly, especially one young man who is learning English who worked very hard to serve us well. We happily took his suggestions when we ordered and he was spot on. A selection of... More

We stumbled across this place by accident. The staff were really friendly (and fantastic with our four year old) and the food was great - can't recommend the aubergine tapas dish enough!

We decided to go a bit off the beaten path, rounded a corner in a beautiful plaza (complete with church, fountain, cobblestones, etc.) and came across Meson El Sacristan. It was warm and we ate outside which I recommend if weather permits. I did go inside to use the restroom so can't much vouch for what goes on in there... More

We visited here on 30th December after being let down by another restaurant ,(mix up with our booking), and we were rewarded with a fantastic meal and had a lovely evening. We ordered a mixture of Tapas that were recommended by the staff. Everything we had was delicious ...The black pudding balls with orange were our favourite dish, followed by... More

My husband and I visited Ronda in October 2013. We popped in to this restaurant for an early lunch and were not disappointed. Our waiter was terrific - we conversed with our muddled Spanish and he entertained us thoroughly (in addition to giving us a little peek at the Roman ruins in the basement after our meal.) We had a... More

We ate here on a Monday night, they close on Wednesdays, and we're the only diners at 7.30pm. Our meal was delicious and we were warned that the lamb we'd chosen would take 30 mins to be ready. They served us with starters of our choice so the time soon passed. It was well worth the wait. Highly recommend this... More

Probably the slowest service in the world. Not paying attention if new customers arrive although there is not much going on. Ordering a simple coffee takes 20 minutes. Location is nice next to the city hall. But that's about it.

We pitched up, ordered - some standard tapas, some new twists (black pudding balls crusted with almonds and served with orange marmalade). Excellent all the way through. Great Ronda house wine, Couldn't fault it.
