My family and I ate here one stifling hot lunchtime in July when hunger hit us on a busy day of sight seeing. It was one of the highlights of our day in Ronda! We sat in the shade of the ancient city wall while the wonderfully warm, sincere, funny and charming Guillermo told us of his menu. He was... More

There are many dining options in Ronda. De locos does need this review obviously, but excellence must be rewarded too. The food was indeed very good but the personal service service made the luncheon a delight. In a tourist trap area, restaurants like these stand out. The location for us made it as easy as stepping out of the front... More

Decided to visit Ronda for the day and used Trip Advisor to research lunch venue. Followed the previous reviews and booked a table at De Locos Tapas. Upon reaching Ronda we struggled to find parking so had to run to the restaurant to make our booking, the family were saying to me "this better be worth it"....and boy wasn't it... More

If there's a tapas bar in Ronda, that's better than this, I want to know about it. My husband and I shared a variety of vegetarian, fish, meat and sweet dishes and it was impossible to chose a favourite. The fact that there are only six tables, with a maximum of 24 covers, in a tiny square, each served by... More

6 tables in a small square just inside the town walls at the southern end of the old town. A genial owner with very good English and a sense of humour. No pretensions whatsoever. Outstandingly good tapas at very reasonable prices. A classic Andalusian experience. Book! We had to reserve a table two days in advance.

We visited here as a result of the many great reviews. The hotel we are at seemed somewhat reticent that we were using Tripadvisor as the basis of a restaurant to visit, oh well! Firstly you must book, a few were turned away on the night. The food is most definitely not traditional Spanish tapas (no patatas bravas, tortilla etc)... More

If you visit Ronda, lunch at De locos tapas is a must, but beware, a reservation is essential. I did this on line a week before our visit and received an email confirmation straight away. The bar is a 20 minute walk from the bridge in Ronda and not difficult to find. Lunch is outside at one of only six... More

We chose to hunt out this restaurant for lunch on a day trip to Rhonda. What we found at just after 12.30pm was the most unstated looking little end terrace with just 6 tables huddled close to the shade of the old medieval wall of the old town. I poked my head round the front door to be greeted by... More

Once you go to De locos you know what the title of this review means. The food was superb. The setting magic and the host could not have done a better job. His passion for the food is obvious from the start. Not only is he a great chef , he is a wonderful entertainer. Dining at De locas tapas... More

Definitely a must visit while in Ronda. Delicious tapas, which are slightly different from the usual tapas you get everywhere else, in a good way. Foie gras was amazing, but everything we had was great. Tapas are generally one serve to an order, so if you really like something it'll be best to order two serves. Important - you must... More
