My wife and I were taken here by our two friends who were staying in the area for a few months, they had ate there before and wanted to share the experience with us we were not disappointed, the tapas was excellent. The owner was very attentive and explained all the dishes to us. No complaints

Located by the city walls a 20 minute walk from the Puente Nuevo is De Locas. In winter there are five tables, four upstairs and one downstairs. In summer they double their capacity to eight tables - this place is extremely small and you should book in advance especially in the summer time. The two things that make this place... More

We were lucky to get a table for lunch here and what a treat! The place is very small, but has a great location, superb food and excellent service. The presentation just adds to the pleasure (see the photos). Picked the place because of its ranking. Totally worthy of the top spot in Ronda. Would love to go back. It's... More

It is about 2 years since I reviewed De Locos Tapas and since things have moved on here somewhat I thought an update would be appropriate. We have been several times recently and the cooking just gets better and better and the dishes on offer get more and more inventive. When we first went we didn't think that things could... More

My tapas looked like sushi. But they tasted like San Sebastian. Did someone just turn Andalucia upside down! I loved it. De Locos looks like a dive bar. Six tables inside. Six out. But the menu list is long and presentation is extraordinary We've owned a vacation home in Ronda for 15 years. 150+ restaurants here. My wife and 12-year-old... More

I have tried countless tapas in all over the Spain, but these Tapas were one of the best and definitely very different with the best presentation. Bar goes by saying: Better quality, less quantity, so dont expect to ask for 1 or 2 tapas per person and leave with full stomach. But its worth paying more for such Tapas in... More

Fantastic food - which just kept on coming - served by helpful staff in a wonderful little restaurant just inside the old gate of Ronda. Booking in advance is essential!

We walked into this very tiny simple restaurant and we are glad we did. This husband and wife team are just fabulous. We had at least half of the menu and it was just divine!!! My favourite things were the lamb tagine, octopus, satay to name a few but every course was fantastic. No really it was. As the place... More

Tiny (seats 16, more in summer). MUST have reservation. Chef is Basque and he infuses his dishes with unusual seasonings and creative preparations. We had about 1/2 of the dishes on the menu and every one was wonderful.

This is an off-the-beaten path restaurant with only a half dozen tables and no ambiance. The menu is extensive and is read and described to you by a knowledgeable, humorous and bilingual (Sp/En) server with a really warm personality. There are a large number of quirky tapas; a meal for my girlfriend and me consisted of maybe 8 or 10... More
