Honest Spanish tapas at fair prices

Local type place with decent food at cheap prices. Tried various tapas and all were tasty. My favourites were the Gambas Pil-Pil and Salchichon breadroll. Whisky-cola and Bacardi-colas were cheap at 3.9 euro for very generous quantities. The seating area upstairs was decent, downstairs is a... read more

Very tasty food for a very good price. We were here for lunch and ordered several dishes & tapas. Best so far on our trip. Will definitely come back.

I strongly recommend to eat here when you visit Ronda. First, you have to try the ensaladilla rusa (the best ever) and then, enjoy every single tapa or dish. I am glad such a place exists in my hometown and really happy with Paco, the owner, who always treats me like if I was home. Will never forget the present... More

Very busy place for Tapas and a night out. Filled with locals having fun and enjoying their great food. We found a recommendation on our Lonely Planet book and decided to go there. Is on the other side of town and the walk was very nice and pleasant. It was packed and the Bodega had three more places around the... More

Stopped off here for a drink at lunchtime during our walk and enjoyed the atmosphere, so decided to eat there that evening. We enjoyed the food and the staff were helpful. This typical Spanish restaurant / bar was busy with locals at the weekends and worth a visit lunchtime or evening.

Excellent tapas and warm service in s authentic Spanish Taberna just outside the city walls. If you are spending more than a day in Ronda, this is place you should not miss. TVs inside the bar will broadcast football games and the tables on the sidewalk will be packed with locals and tourists.

Stopped by for easy, relaxed lunch today. What a treat! tapas 1 euro each, good choice of wines, what else does a man need in a winter sunshine. Given a chance, would become a daily patron...

I know it sounds strange to find the best octopus dish in a mountain city like Ronda, but it is true! Go to the San Francisco and ask for pulpo a gallega...everything was perfect in this dish. The tenderness of the octopus and its warm temperature....It is also worth the pinchos of gambas mainly because the shrimps came at the... More

There are many great places in Ronda for Lunch and Dinner. This is one of them. We sat outside in the plaza across the street from the restaurant. The food is very good and the sangria is find on a hot day. Order all that you want at once since getting a waiter to come from across the street is... More

Located in the old town right on the square with multiple indoor and outdoor seating areas. We had heard good things about the Bodega, so went for dinner and were not disappointed. We tried the bar first - but was packed so we were shown to a table upstairs. Too hot up there, so back downstairs and across the street... More
