I arrived late the last night of the carnival. It was heaving with people in fancy dress but the bar staff found me a corner and made sure I was served. I returned again on quieter evenings and found the staff helpful and happy to advise on the moderstely priced menu. I was even advised to take a half portion... More

Visited in January. Ordered some wine, beer and tapas. Nothing special, like I was anticipating. All dishes came with chips, which we all found unusual. Food was ok, some pork, a stew, some squid, but unremarkable. Bill came in at around 30 euros, which was a bit steep. When my partner and family commented that 18 euros for a bottle... More

Visited Ronda off-season in November. Arrived late and wanted a quick bite, hoping for a decent, no-frills meal. Bar Faustino unfortunately could not deliver.. The bar is narrow and has two floors of seating, which is a plus. Locals and tourists occupied four tables in the rear, watching a football match. No heat in the cafe/bar and no toilet paper... More

We had a great lunch of various tapas at the Faustino. I can only repeat what others have said - the tapas were well priced and generous and tasty. Nice atmosphere as well. The service was good and friendly. Nice people! We found it easily on a quick stop in Ronda and were glad we did!

Faustino's has been recommended by many travel advisors including Rick Steves, Lonely Planet, etc., and we learned why. For taste, value, atmosphere, friendly and fast service, it has it all. It was filled with as many locals as tourista. The portion sizes for 1.50 Euros are huge and filling. My wife and I were stuffed with four tapas and one... More

It's a very nice restaurant with very good service. We had a nice Tapas variation for two person and we were very happy. We had an unforgettable lunch there. It worth to look for this place in the beautiful Ronda!

We found Bar Faustino while searching for the highly recommended but seemingly elusive 'De locos Tapas'. Lunch at Faustino is taken in a small light and airy courtyard through the bar. The service was very friendly and attentive (as always it helps if you can produce a couple of sentences in Spanish) and the tapas were excellent, the aubergines in... More

I reviewed this restaurant a year or so ago but after my latest visit I won't be going back. Dull food, rushed service, unpleasant ambience. An experience to forget, Ronda offers much more. .

We visited here after asking a local where they went and boy, are we glad we did. Not only are the staff friendly but the food is very cheap and utterly delicious. The aubergine was a revelation as it came out looking like a platter of chips with a paper-thin crispy coating and is served with honey. After days of... More
