While not as expensive as other restaurants, it is also not as good. We came here for lunch because my husband, who spent a semester abroad in Ronda, loves their potato salad. It was good, as was the rest of our lunch. The atmosphere is neat, with the open center. It was a quality place to have lunch and blissfully... More

We enjoyed sitting at the bar watching the "real Spain" enjoying good local tapas at extremely competitive prices.

My wife and I stopped by here for an afternoon meal on a stop through Ronda. To be honest, we were both very disappointed in our meals. By this time, we had eaten at many tapas restaurants from Madrid, to Sevilla, to Marbella. That said, the meal we had was not up to par and certainly not to the level... More

The rain had just started and my British instincts told me it was about to hammer down, we ducked into what seemed a very unassuming bar. Once we were in the back we realised we'd found a locals haven. The upstairs and downstairs seating areas are surrounded by bullfighting memorabilia. We went for very simple food fried Boguerones(fresh anchovies) and... More

We attended this restaurant for lunch after seeing the listing in the lonely plant guide and it did not disappoint. Great service and the Tapas is excellent value for money. Mati even suggested other restaurants for us to visit in Spain.

I arrived late the last night of the carnival. It was heaving with people in fancy dress but the bar staff found me a corner and made sure I was served. I returned again on quieter evenings and found the staff helpful and happy to advise on the moderstely priced menu. I was even advised to take a half portion... More

Visited in January. Ordered some wine, beer and tapas. Nothing special, like I was anticipating. All dishes came with chips, which we all found unusual. Food was ok, some pork, a stew, some squid, but unremarkable. Bill came in at around 30 euros, which was a bit steep. When my partner and family commented that 18 euros for a bottle... More

Visited Ronda off-season in November. Arrived late and wanted a quick bite, hoping for a decent, no-frills meal. Bar Faustino unfortunately could not deliver.. The bar is narrow and has two floors of seating, which is a plus. Locals and tourists occupied four tables in the rear, watching a football match. No heat in the cafe/bar and no toilet paper... More

We had a great lunch of various tapas at the Faustino. I can only repeat what others have said - the tapas were well priced and generous and tasty. Nice atmosphere as well. The service was good and friendly. Nice people! We found it easily on a quick stop in Ronda and were glad we did!

Faustino's has been recommended by many travel advisors including Rick Steves, Lonely Planet, etc., and we learned why. For taste, value, atmosphere, friendly and fast service, it has it all. It was filled with as many locals as tourista. The portion sizes for 1.50 Euros are huge and filling. My wife and I were stuffed with four tapas and one... More
