Dinner overlooking the gorge

La Pilastra is set into the side of the gorge and you have fabulous views as you dine on one of the outside terraces. We had pizzas which were very good and a large carafe of Sangria, and watched the sunset and the bats and moths flying in the gorge.

Right on the edge of the gorge on the left as you come across the bridge to the old town. We had excellent sangria and gazpacho there on several occasions - one of the joys of Spain is tasting all the different recipes for these 2 staples and the local variations. It’s tempting to just sit outside in the first... More

With such a stunning view, one would expect the the food to be average and touristy ...but we were in for such a pleasant surprise! We ordered the daily menu (prosciutto on melon salad, Salmon, Creme Brûlée). The salad was fresh & delicious, the salmon was a huge serving and worked well with the courgettes.. the Creme brûlée was okay... More

This restaurant offers a great view of the Ronda bridge and canyon. The terrace is nice, staff is professional. We had pizza and salad which was quite good actually. Often places close to these monuments are "tourist traps" but this place offers value for money!

We ordered the daily menu ( gazpacho, salmon, ice cream ). Service was very friendly, spoke good English and helped us out with a wifi problem. The food was served in a record time ( probably because we both had the daily menu and the kitchen is prepared for fast service of the menus). The gazpacho was good, made cent portion... More

Great views, but boy do you pay for it. The food was average but the service nice and friendly. We resorted to this place as inexplicably most restaurants were closed at about 9.30 pm. Would not recommend.

We chose this place primarily for the location as the view was incredible and they offered what seemed like a reasonable set menu for €10. myself and my girlfriend ordered a small bottle of water each and I had 2 small glasses of beer. My girlfriend had a set menu of a salad, spaghetti bolognese and chocolate mousse. The salad... More

We visited here on the night of 27th June we had already been to a very expensive restaurant on the opposite side of the gorge and the food was so poor we thought we will go sit outside La Pilastra have a chip between us and a glass of sangria. The waitress came with menu we ordered our drinks first... More

We were four on a short visit to Ronda, after a walk round the "old" town we found this delightful restaurant on top of the cliffs overlooking the gorge. we were lucky to get a table where we could marvel at the ingenuity of the ancient bridge builders. The daily lunch menu was either 10 Euros or 16 Euros and... More

Very nice to be able to sit inside to enjoy our lunch on such a hot day. Quick and warm service. Pizza and tapas was very good. The kids enjoyed them selves= happy parents. Thank you.
