Situated on one of the main tourist spots in Ronda I had very low expectations - the place is obviously a tourist trap due to its location and view. I was pleasantly surprised. The food is not gourmet but it doesn't have to be, the view is incredible and there are few places in the world where you can have... More

Good food in a great location overlooking the gorge. Would certainly visit again next time we are in Ronda.

Party of 7 people, 4 adults and 3 children, ordered 4 tapas selection, 1 fillet, 1 salad, 1 bull tail plus drinks. Apart from the last two courses that were judged acceptable, the first five were barely edible. In Spain tapas, that are generally served with bread whereas here is considered as a separate order billed 7.5euros. Fillet was good... More

we had bull's tail, had nothing to the with the good ones we had in sevilla, malaga, and madrid. Two small pieces of meat (with french fries!) came only, so different than the real ones in other spanish cities that has soft and tender meat. prices are expensive, only okay for a drink, but absolutely avoid for food. If you... More

Lunch was good with a wonderful back drop of the gauge . service and food good and reasonably priced. We were not rushed and the views are spectacular.

this place serves non authantic food that is not spanish although claimed to be spanish. the manager i think is not spanish. they also tried to charge us different prices than the menu, so be careful. this place works as a tourist trap at the very enterence of the city, move inside the town to find authantic andalusian food.

No question about the views, and our waiter was attentive and very helpful. I had the salmon and it was as good as the view. Completely satisfying! The spaghetti, though, was a bit sad. Nothing interesting in the sauce, not even as good as the stuff in the jar back home. Overall a good experience but I can't recommend everything... More

The setting for this restaurant is magnificent overlooking thevalley below the new bridge. The service was equal to much more expensive restaurants in the same town. The food and wine selection were also outstanding. Don,t miss this one

Having dined the previous night in an excellent restaurant on the other side of the cliff we decided that the opposing view on the other side would complete our Ronda dining experience perfectly. How wrong we were proved to be. Despite boasting of its Trip Adviser rating with the logo proudly displayed in its window the La Pilastra was a... More
