Great view - a little quieter than others?

Given the mayhem taking place on the bridge between tour groups, car drivers and some form of zip line, this little restaurant provides a great tranquil spot for lunch. A great view over the back of the gorge, nice simple food from their snack menu and a tasty fresh orange juice.

We ate on the terrace at this restaurant. Fantastic location overlooking the gorge . It was dinner so we were in the shade, This side has the sun for lunch. The other side gets the evening sun. The service was very good. We ate early so it was quiet . Gezpacho was good so was the scrambled eggs with mushroom.... More

We picked this place for the unbelievable view, but the food and sangria turned out to be excellent as well. We sat out on the patio and had tapas and a quince and manchego sandwich. The server was extremely nice and even took our picture. This is an all around great pick for a meal with a view.

The first thing you will notice is the beautiful view of the 390 foot deep gorge. The pretty white houses sit a top with golden yellow farms and mountains in the distance. The server was courteous and we received our meals in aprox 8 min. Tapas platter and salad were delicious! I recommend the stop

Views fantastic for sure but we had a great lunch. Wife and son shared a paella which they raved about and I had the tapas selection which was excellent. Good value and great service. Worth taking a look at the additional restaurant made out of what seems to be an ancient vaulted cellar at the back of the bar. Quite... More

So many places to eat in Ronda. We ate here because it was right next to the new bridge and perched right on the gorge. Had a table looking straight across. Menu has plenty of choice. Had the soup of the day. Excellent. Main course was seafood. Also very good. Nice relaxing eating. Plenty of space.

We stopped in Ronda on our way from Granada to Seville and needed a place to get lunch just as a rainstorm came through. We stopped at La Pilastra del Torero because of the rain and the location. With the rain, our view was limited as we sat inside but the atmosphere was still pleasant with enough patrons to be... More

First: Fantastic wiew! Probably the best wiew from any restaurant in Ronda. Second: The food was terrible. We ate pizza, and the pizza was just like bad frozen pizza. Don't go there.

Situated on one of the main tourist spots in Ronda I had very low expectations - the place is obviously a tourist trap due to its location and view. I was pleasantly surprised. The food is not gourmet but it doesn't have to be, the view is incredible and there are few places in the world where you can have... More

Good food in a great location overlooking the gorge. Would certainly visit again next time we are in Ronda.
