serenaded by guitar music

Restaurant located in square close to path down to gorge. A man was playing the guitar in the square both during the day and evening. It gave a great atmosphere to our dining outside. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. A lovely evening

After a wonderful day in the antic city of Ronda, we wanted to eat somewhere. The sound of the guitarre attracted us and we chose "El Campillo". Big mistake. One of the worst and most expensive places we have ever eaten in. I ordered swordfish and I was a100% certain that even a cat would not have eaten it. My... More

Lifting the solid pasta with the fork from the plate demonstrated the dried out nudel which just escaped the microwave to be served to a hungry tourist. Zero taste in cheap oliveoil. Zero Pointe for the food.

After traveling around Spain the past 2 months, one of the things I love about it is that there are so many amazing restaurants - and it makes me sad that we wasted a meal at this place. We ate here because my husband felt like having spaghetti and saw it on the menu here, so we came for dinner.... More

We had lunch there. The food was decent and service ok. No air condition inside and it was too hot. They have hotel prices- mains for 12-18euro.

After enjoying sundowners serenaded by a guitarist 2 nights ago, we decided to try El Campillo for lunch today. The staff were lovely and recommended fresh hake rather than the cod from the menu. We took their advice and were not disappointed. A really delightful plaza with gardens in front of the restsurant...and then spectacular views. We hope to return... More

The food was good but seemed a bit overpriced. When you're offered the special, make sure that you check the price before ordering. Lovely location, and we enjoyed watching the little cats looking for food in the evening.

Excellent place to look at the sunset. And stuff is friendly. When we were pass this restaurant and sow their tomatoes, we couldn't pass and come into this restaurant. The stuffs told us about his tomatoes and his Sheff, who grows these tomatoes. We tried salad with tomatoes and tuna. It's yami-yami. You have to try it when you are... More

Had an excellent lunch here a couple of weeks ago. The most fantastic tomato and tuna salad. Simple but delicious - local tomatoes, tuna, flakes of salt and olive oil dressing. Yum. Live guitar playing in the background and beautiful view completed the experience.

I just love this little cafe. The perfect place to sip a cold one and watch the world go by. I can't comment on the food, but it looked good.
