Best kept secret in Ronda!

The best kept secret for tourists to Ronda! This dinky, no-frills restaurant serves fabulous seafood (mainly), and is very popular with the locals which is always a good yardstick to measure up the quality of any eatery. There is no fixed menu and what is served on a particular day depends on the availability of fresh local produce/catch. We got... More

We got the recommendation for this restaurant from a local shopkeeper (finding the restaurant ended up being a Spanish adventure of 'three streets down' but anyway...) and it was pretty busy when we arrived but luckily we were there early (12-1pm) and they had a table for seven of us. I had actually done a quick read through the other... More

Los Cazadores is one of our favorite restaurants in Ronda. We go there anytime we visit this beautiful city. This small restaurant is visited by locals, their service is personal, the menu is mostly verbal and almost exclusively seafood. Don't miss their delicious tuna (order it rare or even sushi style – atún), clams in garlic sauce (almejas), deep fried... More

Everyone's agreed - this place is great. Our hotel recommended it highly. Reviewers seem unanimous in their praise. It's packed with food-savvy locals. And we enjoyed a feast here at lunchtime. There doesn't seem to be a menu but the welcoming owner will bring you a succession of wonderfully cooked fish dishes - or do what we did and try... More

We spent one night in Ronda and decided to try this restaurant. Turned out to be a great decision. Every thing was delicious. They open around 8:30 which is about when we got there. The owner greets us and essentially tells us he will be bringing us seafood which is typical for the region. Starts bringing platter after platter of... More

During our 3 weeks of travel all over Spain, this little restaurant stood our as the best seafood restaurant by far...and we sampled many high quality establishments. We deferred to the owner to serve us the dishes about which he was most proud. He served us with enthusiasm and well-deserved pride. The food was so delicious and unique that we... More

Order an assortment of small fried fish and eggplant strips and a glass of wine. You won't be disappointed.

Ronda is small so you don't have to travel very far to eat where the locals eat. We went into the restaurant in search of hearty stews such as oxtail because we had seen so much land for pasture on the train ride and the name of the restaurant translates to The Hunters, but we walked out because the menu...
