Spot-on seafood

Very good simple seafood, we speak no Spanish so went with the owners recommendation for the mixed platter Eu 46 for 4 of us.

Someone at the hotel enfente arte told us about a place where the locals go. We wandered, got lost as usual, asked 5 people for directions (we are completely illiterate in Spanish I am embarrassed to say), got 5 consistent instructions which involved a lot of pointing and here we were. Grilled squid, aubergine (eggplant) and lightly fried anchovies....all to... More

Simply put: you have to eat here. A local told us it was the best place in town for seafood, and it was the best I have ever tried, anywhere in the world. Every day the owner drives to the beach to select the produce. It is fresh and extremely well cooked, with simple flavours that let the quality of... More

We turned up early (for Spain) at 8 30pm. It was just opening but got busy VERY fast with local people. We just asked them to give us a selection of dishes which the owner then did. They arrived one at a time...to share. Each one freshly cooked and delicious. We finally stopped and paid the bill. Great value at... More

Excellent fresh Andalusian Seafood! Our tasty lunch was prepared by one of the owners, in a small authentic restaurant, which has been in business (same location) for thirty-two years. The other owner greeted us and guided us (small location) to a table near the front windows. Without a menu, our host told us that he would serve us a wonderful... More

Excellent restaurant providing superb Andalucian seafood recipes. A great experience in a friendly restaurant full of character. Busy in season so arrive early or pre book.

The best kept secret for tourists to Ronda! This dinky, no-frills restaurant serves fabulous seafood (mainly), and is very popular with the locals which is always a good yardstick to measure up the quality of any eatery. There is no fixed menu and what is served on a particular day depends on the availability of fresh local produce/catch. We got... More

We got the recommendation for this restaurant from a local shopkeeper (finding the restaurant ended up being a Spanish adventure of 'three streets down' but anyway...) and it was pretty busy when we arrived but luckily we were there early (12-1pm) and they had a table for seven of us. I had actually done a quick read through the other... More

Los Cazadores is one of our favorite restaurants in Ronda. We go there anytime we visit this beautiful city. This small restaurant is visited by locals, their service is personal, the menu is mostly verbal and almost exclusively seafood. Don't miss their delicious tuna (order it rare or even sushi style – atún), clams in garlic sauce (almejas), deep fried... More

Everyone's agreed - this place is great. Our hotel recommended it highly. Reviewers seem unanimous in their praise. It's packed with food-savvy locals. And we enjoyed a feast here at lunchtime. There doesn't seem to be a menu but the welcoming owner will bring you a succession of wonderfully cooked fish dishes - or do what we did and try... More
