Dinner was fine. Good service and food in nice little setting. Breakfast was good, except hot water was not really hot.

We ate early with young kids so service was excellent, food arrived quickly. Tapas was OK. We also had the set menu with really tasty tender pork chops and nice custard dessert. We didnt look at the reviews until after eating there and I was surprised at some of the negative comments as we quite enjoyed our meal there. I...

We went here for lunch as we only wanted something light. The waiter said they did tapas, sandwiches and light bites etc. When we went in the restaurant looked lovely, we saw people eating and this should of been our first clue as alot of food was being left. I ordered melon and ham, the ham was stale and the...

I don't know how we ended up in here, but the food was disappointing. It appeared to be reheated and lacked any flair. I suppose they cater for the tourist trade and don't need repeat business. It wasn't terrible, but it was nearly average

The restaurant Don Javier is located inside the hotel of the same name, but also has tables outside in the alley way which is actually the entrance to the hotel and restaurant. The outside...

Just got back from Ronda and made the mistake of going for the 12 euro set menu at Don Javier (opposite the bull ring). The place was packed out and service was slow. Twenty minutes in we got some awful pickled carrots and olives and bread (in plastic wrapper!). Beware, this is added to your bill, as is 8% VAT....

We had an excellent meal here. Whilst we had to wait for the paella, it was easy to see why...it was freshly cooked and very tasty. The other meals we had were also fresh and the quantities were generous. During the winter it can be a challenge to find a reasonable place to eat so we were pleasantly surprised to...

Had lunch here while on a day trip to Ronda.. it is a lovely location but food was very plain and sauces were obviosly not homemade. We got a Carbonara (tinned carbonara sauce) and Bolognaise (spagetti hoops with some meat thrown in). Service was good though and it was an ok lunch I suppose..
The food is superb with a mix of arabic and spanish cuisine. Located adjacent to the Bull Ring in Ronda, tucked away in a small lane it is a great place to sit and enjoy your meal. We had the paella and grilled chicken and mezze and all dishes were excellent. It is a wee bit pricey but the food...
