The food in Puerta Grande is excellent. Starting with the complimentry tapas (including an amazing gazpacho), through the hearty starters (I highly recommend the Migas Rondenas and battered aubergine in honey - so light!), to generous and delicious mains (shared pealla is superb, duck in lime sauce sumptuous), and finally desert (which only the kids could manage) - the food... Just had 2 dinner visits to Puerta Grande in Ronda which was recommended by Hilda from the Hotel Enfrente Arte (which is awesome). The service is amazing and the waiters are a credit to the restaurant. The food is simply awesome and a must visit when in Ronda. We had an aubergeine starter which is in batter and covered in... This was our only eating place on our overnight stay in Ronda and it was worth being singled out by the owner of the Hotel! There is an earlier comment about the location but if you don't want street eating, there's plenty of room inside. We enjoyed the bustle and watching the world go by! For starters, we had melon... Great variety of food for a family with teenagers with attentive and light hearted service. On-the-house tapas and liqueurs were a nice touch. The paella between two was delicious and well presented. Do watch out for the drinks though - the soft drinks were pre-poured in glasses with a lot of ice, so not much liquid. On the other hand,... More

The service here was amazing! The staff were very warm, kind, and attentive. They were extremely professional. When they weren't fulfilling a patron's needs, they often stood along the walls surveying the room in case anyone needed anything. However, they didn't stare, or make anyone uncomfortable. They acted extremely classy and professional. The only reason I can't give this restaurant... More

I must say I was I bit skeptical when I saw this well reviewed restaurant in the middle of the touristic route and images on the menu (which is never a good sign) but we gave it a shot, and glad we did!! The staff took really good care of me, my "mujer" and our 7 month son. The service... More

The service was really good. Location not great (construction view). A bit pricey if you want to go for their best dish. We shared a paella and it was good. The best part was complimentary sweet wine at the end.
