Good food, good service

Great variety of food for a family with teenagers with attentive and light hearted service. On-the-house tapas and liqueurs were a nice touch. The paella between two was delicious and well presented. Do watch out for the drinks though - the soft drinks were pre-poured in glasses with a lot of ice... read more

The service here was amazing! The staff were very warm, kind, and attentive. They were extremely professional. When they weren't fulfilling a patron's needs, they often stood along the walls surveying the room in case anyone needed anything. However, they didn't stare, or make anyone uncomfortable. They acted extremely classy and professional. The only reason I can't give this restaurant... More

I must say I was I bit skeptical when I saw this well reviewed restaurant in the middle of the touristic route and images on the menu (which is never a good sign) but we gave it a shot, and glad we did!! The staff took really good care of me, my "mujer" and our 7 month son. The service... More

The service was really good. Location not great (construction view). A bit pricey if you want to go for their best dish. We shared a paella and it was good. The best part was complimentary sweet wine at the end.

We stopped by this restaurant for dinner because of the convenient location (right close to the main touristic center of Ronda, not too far from the bridge) as well as the great reviews on TA. We were initially skeptical, because the restaurant is located on what appears to be a very touristy street, lined with restaurants. However, from the moment... More

On vacation in Ronda, my wife, myself and my 7 month old baby decided to give La Puerta Grande a try. We were pleasantly surprised on all levels. The food was excellent and the service impeccable. They attended to our every need and offered complementary items. A little bit on the pricy side but definitely worth it.

Lots of restaurants in touristly Ronda, but this one is worth seeking out. It is in a pedistrianised street close to the gorge and main square. Our lunch was outside on a hot day. One of the friendliest waiters, fabulous choce on the menu, tasty food, a modest bill and complementary glasses of a local liqueur to round it off.... More

My wife and I, shared two plates for lunch; we had the oxtail specialty and spaghetti bolognese on their outdoor patio. It was fantastic. The service was very good and attentive. There was a complimentary glass of local sweet wine afterwards. Highly recommend this restaurant. The cost was a very reasonable 25 euro inc. tax.
