Although we had been careful to ensure we didn't venture out too early - we still seemed to be too early for this place! We sat outside and were the only customers at around 9pm - when we walked past an hour later it had started to get busier. As a vegetarian I do struggle in Spain and the tapas... More

My husband and I ate here the first night we were in Ronda. His friend, who lives in the town and owns a business, chose to take us here. The tapas was great! In fact, it was the best we had while we were in Ronda. For multiple rounds of tapas for three people, three glasses of wine, two beers,... More

This is a gem with great food for a reasonable price. It is a small place in a modern style squeezed in between two larger standard tourist restaurants yet the crowd seemed to go for quality and preferred Tragatapas to its neighbours. The name refers to an illustrious bandolera called Tragabuches and the menu aims to rebel against conventions and... More

This is one of the more expensive tapas bars in Ronda but it is worth it. Everything was delicious and after two tapas each with a couple of glasses of wine we were full. The portions are slightly bigger than most tapas restaurants. The beetroot salmorejo was splendid so was the calamaris in what tasted like a black brioche. The... More

We planned to have a few tapas and go see the sunset and had a hard time pulling ourselves away after just 3 or 4. Two hours later we returned and tried several of the more substantial dishes. Everything we tried tonight was sensational and although not inexpensive the price was certainly value for the quality and creativity of the... More

If you are looking for tasty tapas that is more than your average meatballs and patatas bravas then this is the place for you. There is outdoor seating right next to several other restaurants so there is a nice atmosphere if you go when it is busy. We sampled the prawn and vegetable tempura, the burgers and shared a chocolate... More

The two of us shared: "Our" Caesar salad, marinated salmon, smoked sardines on bread with tomato, and the main course was Pig. The pig was perfectly done in a sauce that was perfect with the meat. We were in heaven. No better dish in all of Spain, and was not greasy like so many tapas.

Went here as was supposedly the little brother of Tragabuches. It wasn't. We has a few dishes only one of which was good - salmon sashimi - beautiful . The tempura was too heavy and too oily. We also had langoustine which were quite good too. Disappointing unfortunately.

Good tapas and good wine. Nothing special but good food - some things a little pricey! Service was ok too. Sat inside as outside was full - needed AC.
