Service was excellent (we were speaking Spanish) and food also very good. It was a family dinner, 7 people at the table and ordered 6 entrants to share and 4 mains to share as well. Plates came gradually so we could enjoy them warm. Food was very good, grate flavours with all the traditional dishes reaching high standards. A great... More

We ate here last night. We shared a combination of tapas, it was all ok but nothing special. The wine was nice, and it is reasonably priced. I wouldn't go back as there must be better places in Ronda

My wife & I first visited the Hermanos Macias restaurant on a day excursion a few years ago.We were so impressed by the very Spanish cuisine & the atmosphere that we always eat here at least once during our visits. The menu is a delight & not expensive. The Quality & variety of the food & wine are the keynotes of... More

Kindly staff. Paella was good, freshly prepared. But the best was the bull's tail. Juicy and tender. I recommend to everyone.

After reading good reviews we decided to try here. We had dined in Pedro Romero on a previous visit and now wish we had repeated it. Prices are reasonable at macias but everything is so bland. Uninspiring watery mixed salad, lamb stew and rabbit stew seemed to have identical sauces with a little sliced potatoes on the side. Most unforgivable... More

As our last stop of a round trip in Spain, we ended up in Ronda. We visited this restaurant 2 days in a row. The rabbit with garlic is one of the best rabbit dishes I have ever eaten. Beeing Belgian, we do have some fantastic rabbit recipes, so I don't say this often! The dishes are simple but this... More

Ronda is a nice little city, enough to see to spend 1 day. And to close your day, come to this restaurant and try the excellent kitchen. The Rabit in Garlic was the best meal I had in a 11 day trip through Andalusia. I stayed two days in Ronda and ate twice here, outside in the shade.

We have chosen this restaurant just by walking the streets and noticed that it was almost full and managed to get a table for three. The gazpacho was so so fresh and full of taste, it is my standard for this dish now. Bull's tail was nicely cooked and very tender. Nice restaurant!

A year on we revisited, just as we remembered it. We try to find restaurants that are not filled with tourists......this one has passed the test for us during our visits. There is an English menu...but I suppose in Ronda it will be required. Nothing Flashy just a nice genuine down to earth restaurant, we ate the menu of the... More

Ate here on the night of the Procession of the Three Kings January 2013. Very good menu del dia at 14.5 euros (advertised outside but we had to ask for it within). Wide choice of soups plus salad starter. Soap de la casa excellent as were bulls tail stew and lamb stew main courses. One drink included meaning that by... More
