This cafe is on a terrace to the west of the bridge just off the footpath that hugs the cliffs. We expected to pay a bit more for our drinks because of its situation but this was not the case! Definately sit on the terrace, not inside, and enjoy the 180 degree views which are breathtaking

We came here for lunch and ordered the solomillo and chorizo. Both dishes were okay, we had better on our trip, however we waiting a good half an hour for our food. The waiter came back to ask us three times what we wanted to order. We were also moved from our original table because it was "reserved." For the... More

Just before leaving Ronda, we decided to have a quick breakfast before our drive to Granada. Perhaps we should have chosen somewhere else because it went downhill from there. Our waiter, the obviously unhappy at having to work the morning shift, Ernesto, was rude and unhelpful. It seems that while they didn't have the special omelette, they also couldn't do... More

Stopped off to wet my whistle after twenty minutes of hard tourist stuff. Coffee and a brandy and the hangover is strangely passing. Come and enjoy this wonderful place in this great town!

Called here for breakfast yesterday. Coffee lukewarm and we had toast (although bread was not really toasted) with butter and jam - they charged us €11 for two. We have been touring Andulicia for two weeks and had the same breakfast all over BUT MUCH BETTER and have paid only €4.40 to €4.80 for two. This is daylight robbery and... More

After being lured in by a charming atmosphere and some shade from the blistering heat we sat down. However after having ordered paella for all 7 of us, 15 minutes later the food came and it was absolutely awful. It seemed as if it had been heated up in the microwave as leftovers from days before. After making the waiter... More

We stayed at the adjoining El Poeta de Ronda hotel and enjoyed Tapas for lunch one day during our visit. We had one selection of cold and hot tapas - more than enough for two people. We had to ask for bread - unusual as it's normally the first thing served in Ronda - but there was no problem and... More

We had the menu del dia (menu of the day). Three courses - simple food well cooked and presented. Everything was eaten! We had a couple of sangrias as we were tempted by seeing someone else getting them. I'd probably stick to the local house wine next time. The wine is consistently good everywhere in my experience.

This little cafe has a privileged position on the old town side of the famous bridge of Ronda, and makes the most of its proximity to this attraction. Nice drinks and cakes, good decor, nice service (makes a change!). Quiet when we there one evening in November, but what can you expect! The cafe is part of what looks like... More
