Dinner

Went to eat dinner at this local spot, two nights In a row. Great staff, Hector was our bartender and he was friendly and efficient. Nautical ambiance with outside seating, exactly what you're looking for after a day at the beach. Large portions, and everything we had was fantastic.

Really great service, but the food was just ok. Its a great place to go as a big group as the tables are easily set up as community style. Bar type food, large servings, I was hoping for something more authentic to Puerto Rico, but the majority of the dishes for vegetarians were pasta or salads. I ordered tostones but... More

One of the more expensive places I visited. Had a sandwich in a stale pita. No floors, just gravel. Plastic glasses. They forgot salad on the dressing, but did bring some when that was pointed out. They even added some carrots!

We travel to Rincon at least twice a year... The menu is always varied, interesting and especially delicious. The servers, owner, hostess treat us as if we were the only ones they are serving. We plan our trips so that we don't miss a great dining experience at Shipwreck

The food here is awesome and the staff are really nice and friendly. I have been here several times now and I have no complaints about the food or service. The décor is very interesting with all the salvaged ship wrecked stuff. The price is on the high end for the food so I usually only eat here on special... More

You cannot go wrong here! We ate dinner our first night (Sunday) and knew we would be back before we left and we did! The staff was over the top accommodating and the food was very good. With eight in our party (6 adults - 2 children) we sampled a wide variety of menu offerings and all was great. They... More

SUMMATION: The parking lot and the back end of the restaurant were too crowded, too little food was served, wait staff ignored our group, and food was bland and uninteresting. Disaster all the way around. GENERAL: I reviewed this place 11 April 2012 and 9 Feb 2014 (Parguera Pirate reviews #6 & 32) and nothing much has changed. I will... More

Very good once again. Little on expensive side but definitely worth it! I personally love the chimchirri churrasco steak and my husband loves the Nana's 7 hr meat sauce. Both are huge portions and very satisfying. Hector even threw in a couple of bottles of water "on the house" since we come back each year and this year, even brought... More

We went to Shipwreck and liked it so much we went back a second time before we left Rincon. The atmosphere was quiet and serene and the food was delicious! We enjoyed our conversations with both of our waiters who were cordial and attentive. The cost was very reasonable as well. Just over $100. for four of us! I would... More
