Great grouper tacos - happy hour at 5pm for your island rum fix

Tried the mahi and grouper (Katmandu) tacos. Liked the grouper much more - note it is a deep fried shell. Went early on a week night, so no crowd and fast, friendly service. Outdoor restaurant but covered - surviving even the heaviest rain if you are under the corrugated roof (down hill under... read more

Entrees were not very original and many had too much food (12 oz. hamburgers are more than twice what the average person needs to eat). Most of the food you could anywhere in the US. We went early when few others were there, yet the service was rather slow and lackadaisical. Disappointing after the recommendations. Wished we had returned to... More

We've eaten here 4 times and are never disappointed. Some of our favorites are the fish dishes and the steak sandwich. The key lime pie was the best I've ever had. Another winner was the warm brownie with ice cream. We just wished the brownie was a little bigger! The wait staff couldn't have been better. They were attentive and... More

Best Meal I'v had in U.S. or Puerto Rico. We have been there now four times. Tried different entrees, liked the all. Watch out for the chef salad, it can feed 4 people. Steaks are great, better than Ruth Chris Steakhouse. If you like Key Lime Pie, try it. It is made fresh daily

My partner and I spent 3 days in Rincon and had our last dinner at Shipwreck Bar. The food was good and a very friendly atmosphere. Our waiter was awesome too!

We went for dinner on a Thursday. The chef doesn't start things until around 6pm, then you can find out the specials for the night. They also have a good variety of things on their reg menu. Our table ordered the Seared Scallops over linguini, and the Ahi Tuna Salads. We also ordered a side of veggies (squash & carrots).... More

We've been repeat customers of this spot for several years. Lately the prices have been getting to the unreasonable level. Shipwreck is very popular with the gringo crowd and as long as the gringos continue to pay their prices, I guess I can't blame the restaurant for pushing the charges. The Secret Diner however, will not be returning.

Four of us had dinner with oysters, fish, salads, etc. Food was good, but the waiter would not do two separate checks for each couple!! So..... we sat and divided the check and then had to wait an extra fifteen minutes to pay while they figured it all out. Stupid idea.

As the Shipwreck was convenient to where we stayed while in Rincon and we had heard good reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a try. The first night we decided to eat there, all of the tables were taken so we couldn't try their Sunday pig roast special. Later in our vacation stay, we were able to get a... More
