Great Potential!

Loved seeing the elephant signs throughout town, felt like a treasure hunt to actually find the place. We went on a Monday night, and while it wasn't crowded it took a while to actually be seated. We heard good things about this place and had to try it! Fun place, hidden in the hills. We had to wait a while for a table, then wait for our food. The restaurant was severely understaffed but food was fantastic! Definitely worth the wait!

Awesome food but everything else sells short. Terrible service. The team on Sunday is stressed and rude. No liquor license at the moment. After tonight's experience I will not be returning.

The food was awesome and our server (Daniel) was very helpful. We had a great time. Yes, it is hard to find but well worth it. Use their website (www.odetotheelephants.com) for the GPS because otherwise you will get lost. The TripAdvisor directions sent me to the wrong place so go to their website for directions. Yes, there is no liquor... More

Part of the adventure at Ode to the Elephants is just finding the place. Ask a few locals and you'll get there eventually. This Thai restaurant has outstanding food, and is reasonably priced. If you want an alcoholic beverage, bring your own for the time being. The restaurant is in the process of being sold and does not have a... More

I tried to go here three times before I actually found it. It was well worth it, though. The food rivals anything I have had in Boston or New York and is fresh and delicious. There is a deck with a nice view and the ambiance is casual. The only problem is that visitors need to go up three flights... More

We had ginger chicken and some fancy martinis. It was really good. Go before sunset if you can. The view is awesome from the outside deck. You will enjoy your meal. Nice friendly un-rushed service too.

Food was phenomenal but we weren't aware they were in the middle of a liquor license issue. You can bring your own but we were already there by then. Maybe note this on their website would be nice.

We usually visit this place each season when we come to Rincon and find it generally pleasant and worthwhile. This time we had good appetizers, but only fair main courses. Their regular pad thai was ok, but another chicken dish was saturated with soy sauce. Prices seem reasonable, but the place is difficult to find and not especially welcoming. Our... More
