My husband and I were staying at a Hotel near the restaurant and my sister had been there before so she encouraged us to go there. The curb appeal threw us off but sure enough, once the waitress brought our seafood salads we were in for a nice surprise! The portions were huge, everything tasted fresh and home made ,... More

Generally after 15 minutes you expect to receive a glass of water. But not at this place! Come fully hydrated and with a lot of patience...because you will need it. Also, our waiter smelled like he had been drinking. Nice! Enjoy!

NAME: Rincon Tropical [1] TITLE: “Lied about their Seafood” [Tripadvisor, review #42, 2 March 2014] SUMMARY: They lied about their fish and its freshness. Average to poor local food. They are badly over rated online and said they do not like tourists. I cannot recommend them. Their online reviews are misleading. RANKING: Poor. 27TH out of 62 Restaurants in Rincon... More

The fried whole red snapper was freshly caught and deliciously prepared, as was the mofongo with chicken chicharrones.

This place came highly recommended for fresh seafood and didn't disappoint. First - if you are looking for fancy, don't go here. It is open air off of route 115 just past the Econ grocery store. Other reviews complained of servers who didn't speak English. We did not experience this. We had two English speaking servers. And, besides, the menu... More

We visited on a Sunday around noon, our server was bilingual and she was very nice. We had the octopus salad and corn fritters (sorullitos de maiz) as appetizers, so good! My husband had the fish stuffed mofongo and I had the mofongo with breaded shrimp, see photos. Will recommend to friends and will visit again as soon as we... More

Delicious mofongo and churrasco! We had an excellent homestyle dinner and went back for lunch! The octopus salad was tender and fresh, very cold beer as well. Didnt see empanadillas on the menu but would love to try them there if they were!

5 minus walk from Villa Cofresi. Great food, big plates. Don't expect much. Just simple local food. Get a mofong or fish fillet. Great taste!

I don't typically write negative reviews... The wait staff sat us and took our order then proceeded to forget we were here. Lunch took quite a while to come out... My son's Lemonade was horrible... something was wrong with that but they never came back by until they brought the food. They didn't seem to believe us there was an... More
