a newcomer. This new restaurant in the old town of Marrakech is welcome as a calm oasis. Coulour are all in green and black( and white ) there is a large patio with a slight market feeling , then lots of terrasses ,and alcoves. As it was quite new when I went there lin February it feels a bit empty , but with Easter holidays approaching it is certainly a great place to relax during your shopping spree in the souks

Lush courtyard, refreshing non Moroccan dishes

Lush courtyard with a really charming atmosphere. We enjoyed the food a lot, opting for non Moroccan dishes for a change (salmon tartare, spring rolls, fish of the day, chips as an extra, spinach pasta with extra cheese requested). Portions were generous. Staff were pleasant, there was a bit of... read more

Its very difficult to find, and in a rather scruffy downmarket part of the souks. We entered the restaurant with high hopes. It was well maintained and marble floors with traditional tilling. Full of trees and plants, beautiful Riad garden. So sat down under a VERY loud ibiza/magreb trance dance track over the loudspeakers. Asked to change table , not... More

A lush jungle behind a door in the Souk. The menu carried both local and european food and both were equally delicous. The service and the tortois was very friendly. It was great for a quick lunch or slow supper.

Located in the scruffy part of the Medina but when you pass the door, you enter into a luscious green patio, with a romantic atmosphere. If you come for that, fine! If you actually want to eat good, there are plenty of cheaper places that are much more yummy..... I hate coriander, so I have a bit of a hard... More

Mind the roaming turtles (3 of them) at this trendy secret garden. Great smoothies and vegetarian selection for my akward wife. Very chilled atmosphere, perfect lunch spot in the medina with shop above!

If you thought the Tardis in Doctor Who was impressive, you have got to try this place! It was recommended very highly by some nice folks we met in a rooftop lounge earlier in the day and boy were we glad we followed it up. Enter by a single low doorway and you gradually become aware of this enormous garden... More

First evening seated on patio level, fussed over by waiters, nice food, good service . Credit card machine not working so was frog marched to the main square to draw out cash. We had suggested that our daughters wait at the restaurant whilst we went to get the cash but they sent us with a chaperone. Second evening we went,... More

We dined here as a couple with a 7 year old daughter. We found the staff very busy and not particularly friendly. Feeling was more like choose fast , eat fast and make your table free for the next client. Atmosphere to sit was OK with a lot of green - an oasis in the busy medina. Food was rather... More

We really enjoyed our afternoon at le Jardin. The setting was excellent and really pleasant as were the staff. Very original place with the different levels and décor. Wish we had of had longer so we could have gone back.
