It is another "food through a window and eat at a picnic table" place on The Cape. The fish tacos had a good amount of sword fish but then topped with hmmm let me guess??? cold Old El Passo salsa in a soft flour tortilla. The fish was baked, not grilled. They had no idea how to make a fish... More

over the past few years the f.f. has become very popular to say the least. picking the right time to get there is becoming important. the reason ,of course ,is their lobster roll and fish dishes. the rolls are overflowing with fresh chunks of fresh lobster meat, while the clam and fish platters are right up there among the best.... Friendly Fisherman is a must stop for our every visit to the Cape. We visited in August and met some friends who were also on the Cape. The lobster roll is out of this world, but don't stop there. The belly clams and clam strips are also excellent. Clams are greaseless (as were the fries and onion rings), and succulent.... More

Went here for lunch, heard about the lobster rolls, 19$ and they are excellent. However ONLY the lobster rolls were excellent. Sorry, but clam chowder was terrible actually had chunks of doughy matter in it and no clams, hamburger was worse looked like grey matter. If your getting a lobster roll then A++ .There is cute outdoor seating with picnic... More

We have gone to Eastham for the past several years, a conference in this central area keeps us coming back. A highlight of our trips to Eastham is a visit (or two) to the Friendly Fisherman. We find their way of frying whole soft clams is the best around: greaseless, fresh, fast service. The onion rings are great too. We... More

Great Little Self-service and BYOB Restaurant. Two adults, 2 teenagers and a 5 year old spent $90 on lobster rolls, calamari, fish and chips and clam strips. Taste good but got cold too quickly sitting outdoors. Should have brought it back to the hotel to enjoy.

We found this place on a local search of Cape Cod and decided to try it out. It's just a small seafood shack on the side of the road. The food quality was surprisingly good, however it was a little pricey for what you get. A lobster roll and a fish and chips will hit you about 40 bucks, you... More

Don't get me wrong, their fried seafood is superb. However, we go, time and time again, for the lobster roll. It is basic. They don't fill it with nonsense. Roll is toasted and lightly buttered. It is lined with one gorgeous piece if lettuce. It is FILLED with massive hunks of lobster. I've often wondered just how many lobsters it... More

Went with a family of five and everyone liked what they had. The chicken fingers, fish and chips and clams/scallops were all good. It was strange that they did not have large orders of scallops but had small ones. Maybe running low on them? A few of the fried ones see,s to have been cut in half. Clams were good... More

Nice alternative to other fast paced options in the area, and since it is attached to their fish market, you know your seafood is as fresh as it can be. They also have a small area to keep the kids occupied while you wait for your meal to be prepared, or you can visit the fish market which is high... More
