The location is breathtaking, overlooking the valley and the Parador (an old converted convent) from the precipitous edge of the old town. Sadly, it was a little cold to eat outside, but the decor inside was pleasant and the tables set with crisp white linen. The food was really excellent and my wife who is vegetarian, found enough choices on... More

Very difficult to fault. Friendly, professional service, lovely setting with super views over the valley and "hanging houses", elegant decoration and, most importantly, fantastic food at very reasonable prices.

The old town of Cuenca is just about as picturesque as you could want, and its crowning glory are the houses perched against steep limestone cliffs on either side of the river valley. The Figon Del Huecar is such a house, situated brilliantly in the old town, just above the cathedral, and it offers the predictably wonderful view across the... More

What a lovely restaurant Would not have found without trip advisor. Patio overlooked the gorge Great menu well presented food. Only did not get 5 stars as no rest between course. Probably as it was a quiet day.

Been there for the weekend with friends and family. The restaurant is very well located, spacious, with a clean and sophisticated decoration. Staff totally friendly and very good service. Dishes very well cooked (we had the "Carrillada", the "Cochinillo lechal", the "Lomo de corzo" among other and all were tasteful. Good choose of wines. (Tip: if you go for lunch... More

Absolutely one of the best places to have dinner in Cuenca, You really feel like if you are from there with all this local menu, Im not really fan of the Spanish food but this place makes me considere it. Been there twice and I hope to make it a third. Presentation is nice, service is good and the prices... More

This is the 2nd time we have visited this restaurant and we will be back! The service is great. It was not a planned visit and we had no reservations (they are needed) and they were gracious enough to accomodate us. My husband and cousin asked for the Pate de Oca with Honey. OMG!!! this was one of the best... More

This place has a lot going for it and it could easily be the best place to eat in Cuenca if they wanted to. The location and ambience of the restaurant is lovely. The staff are very professional and service is very good. The price of their wines is also very reasonable. What unfortunately makes this restaurant only 'average' is... More

Very pleasant experience with excellent view, ambience and service. Staff was very attentive. Food was good but was reheated and served cold. I had the hake with vegetables. When it arrived, it was presented beautifully, but the only vegetables were a small potato and broccoli head, which were cold and obviously he been cooked earlier,as they were overlooked. I also...
