It's all about the taste of the sea!!!

Having been given the job to find places to eat for the holiday this restaurant was added to the hit list . . . definitely helped by the fact that Adrean from El Bulli ate here on a regular basis. Did it disappoint . . . No, not in the slightest!! I have to admit though that it was a... read more

We went to this restaurant as I saw some excellent review. Firstly there is no menu - don't fall into this trap! The waitress is rushing around. When she comes over to explain what is on offer (in perfect English) there is no mention of prices. When my husband asked how much the large grilled prawns were each her understanding... More

This little gem is amazing!! Just the chef and his one waitress, who is amazing!! They only serve seafood, and by that I mean only seafood! There are no sides, no appetizers, no veggies, just food from the sea. He only serves what is caught that morning, if nothing looks good to him from the docks, he closes for the... More

Our order: Green salad, baby squid, langoustines, monk fish, small clams, two glasses of roses and a bottle of sparkling water came to 105 euros, which I find high compared to other places where we have eaten on this trip. It was all ok but nothing amazing, but we do live in a part of the world with an abundance... More

It's only a small, unpretentious place on a backstreet but the quality of the fish and seafood, combined with brilliant but simple cooking and an incredibly friendly welcome, make this a real treasure. A good, nicely priced list of local wines too.

do you want fish, with no consetions? Go to Rafas, no where ells. Sundays and mondays closed. You know whuy? Fisherman d'ont fish. He only opens when he has frehs fish. He buys when the fisherman are still in their boats befor getting to the port. Only grilled. But the best.

I not only had the pleasure of eating at this iconic restaurant recently, I also had the opertunity to spend the evening with a entertaining , fascinating and knoweldgable top chef. Together with some good mutual friends we enjoyed great fresh local seafood and it was professionally served and accompanied by the perfect wine. I would recomend Rafa's to any... More

One of the best fish dishes my wife and I have ever eaten. Fresh, simple and finger-licking tasty! Friendly staff and worth every penny! We will come back.

Just enjoyed the most amazing dinner last night at Rafas with my husband and little girl. We are in chok that the place doesnt have more top reviews as this is the best fish restaurant in the world, according to Adrean Ferran (El Bulli), and we agree. We enjoyed the most wonderful squid as well as sublime gambas. For mains... More

This is the place where the chef at nearby world famous El Bulli always went to eat fish. You can see why. First to get the full Rafa experience arrive early and ignore the outdoor tables and the right hand room as you face the restaurant. The left hand one is air conditioned and where Rafa operates a grill with... More
