Such a shame one of our favourites, still same good food and a warm welcome, the king prawn curry is amazing, but no rice came, after a while I asked our waitress, she glared at me, stomped off and returned with the rice banged it down. I did tell the owner, it was such a shame it left a poor... More

We love this place and the owner Lionel is charming - have been coming for 20 years and it has never let us down. Owner services excellent wine by the glass which is quite unusual and we have found many great new wines here as a change from our usual favourites. We highly recommend this place summer or winter for... More

Having visited Malveros many times over the last 10 years and it is always consistently good. So it was lovely to visit again on Friday after a couple of years to find everything as it was.Friendly welcoming owner and staff providing tasty local food. Their Green wine is a must!

Best prawn curry I have had in a long time! The place is small but cute and well decorated. There was a little confusion with the wine we were drinking but apart from that the service was nice and very fast! Amazing curry!

Although the menu remains unchanged it was good to see that prices had been held and food and portion size was still good. Enjoyed the chicken curry and the home made green wine is great.

Was a few months ago we visited. Meant to review as we really enjoyed our evening but came home and...... Had the speciality curried shrimp which was beautifully flavoured. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Very good overall.

My wife and I discovered this lovely spot on the side of the road this Easter and we liked it so much that we just had to go back again . The restaurant is intimate and charming and the food is a delicious blend of simple traditional Portuguese style with a subtle Asian hint. The staff are charming and the... More

This was my first visit to Malveiro despite holidaying in the area for more than 15 years I had never come across it. Being tucked away on one of the roads away from Almancil makes its easily missed but what a treat this place is. The owners are super friendly and incredibly proud of their restaurant you can tell and... More
