Camillo has retired, but is still in the restaurant most evenings! Everyone else working in the restaurant remains the same, the food is very similar and remains remarkable value. The decor has changed a little, but it has been done tastefully. The chef has not changed, the food was tasty and decent portions. Five of us went in for dinner,... More

We recently visited Camillo's restaurant with friends who have been many times over several years. We were warmly welcomed by Camillio and his excellent staff. The food was fabulous and very good value. I had veal which was excellent. At the end of the evening we were presented with a glass of port (bottle left on the table for a... More

Fantastic home cooked Italian food. I told Camillo how much I enjoyed his langoustine spinachi when I visited last year and even though it was not on the menu tonight he had it made for me. Just as tasty as I remembered. Camillo is a force of nature, the ultimate host. Please visit his restaurant if you are in the... More

We visited Camillo's because we fancied a good pizza/pasta dish and the majority of reviews were great. Unfortunately, we were the only people in the restaurant on a Friday night which detracted from the experience we were expecting. That being said, Camillo and the staff were very welcoming. We shared baked mushrooms with bacon and Gorgonzola and they were delicious... More

I have to say that I agree with all the other average reviews written here so far. I can't give it any higher rating and I do struggle to understand those that have given higher. That said, Camillo is extremely friendly and welcoming and is clearly trying his best to offer a good service. I loved the place and I... More

Great home cooked food, great service, exceptional ! Great price and the kids just love this wonderful Italian star. We came twice this year and had one takeaway from here. If you can find it, down a residential street, go there !!!!! You will not be disappointed.

Great family evening meal and this exceptional rustic resturant. A real family feel to this resturant. It took time to find this resturant as the sat nav had some problems with the street address, but luckly spotted a street sign. We had mixed starters and main courses of pizza, veal (specials menu), lasagne and spaghetti bolagnase. The rustic surrounding made... More
