Average and overpriced seafood

Gosch is a northern German institution and a chain of seafood / fast food restaurant. Order and pay at the counter. The food is average, but overpriced for what is offered. There are better alternatives.

We came here for a snack and I decided to have a Matjes fish bread to take away. It was the best Matjes I had on our stay in Binz. Gosch offers various fish and seafood dishes inside where there is a seated restaurant.

During my visit in Binz, I went there three times in a row for a lunch. Just because it was so good. Everything was great. I have nothing to complain about. My favourite picture in the picture.

This place offers fresh fish. Food is good quality, good selection. You order at the counter and then wait at a table you pick. No upscale place but good value.

We went yesterday evening at 9.30 to have a small dinner as my friend arrived late by train. We had two beers and ordered fish & chips. Very friendly lady at the beer counter and friendly as well at the hot food station. At around 9.50 when we were eating, suddenly the open kitchen was cleaned by four cooks so... More

Centrally located at the Seebrücke, great seafood and pasta at reasonable prices. But as victims of their success they can't keep up with the orders - we waited almost an hour to finally get our dinner!

Gosch is a kind of classic restaurant you have to go when visiting German Sea. They serve great fresh sea food and have a lovely atmosphere. It's next to the sea with a lovely view.

An ok place to have lunch or dinner. We had some various dishes and most of them is recommendable. Especially the mixed plate with different kind of fish were good. The fish 'n chips were ok and the shrimps fine, too. The mussels and the soup were a bit disappointing.

This restaurant is part of a chain which originated on the island of Sylt and now has branches in other parts of Germany. It's a self-service place serving high quality seafood. You order your food at one counter and drinks at another counter, find a place to sit and wait for the buzzer to go off to collect your food... More
