We've started going back after a good refurb. We found real fires in a spotless bar. Warmly welcomed by great hosts. The 'Tribute' is great and so is the food. Well worth a visit.

I said after my last review I would go back. This time hubby was at work (shame) so four ladies went for lunch. Three of us had the salmon from the specials board. Every mouthful was a dream and we would have fought one another with the cutlery if there had not been enough of the fresh fruit meringue roulade...

We had dinner here on the 6/5/13 and the food was great. Portions were generous (too many chips) and the quality of ther food was amongst the best we have come across. We spend a lot of weekends trying various places to eat & drink, and this is up there with the best places we have found.
The cheesy mushrooms...

We booked a table for 9 on Sunday 05/05/2013. Great friendly service, and superb quality of food. We will make this a regular stop at least once a month. Thanks again for accomodating our food choices. You have our custom!!! What a great find.....:-):-):-):-)
Lovely Sunday roast at the coach today...definately be back soon! Asked for an extra Yorkshire pudding, had two more brought out to us! Finished with a lovely cheeseboard to share...and again, extra crackers when asked for. Such a nice friendly atmosphere...already looking forward to my next visit!
We visit here regularly. The food is always excellent, the staff are second to none and the owners absolutely make this restaurant worth the visit, you won't want to leave. It is without doubt my favourite restaurant in this lovely little village. I have too many nice comments about the food, so won't bore you with all the details but...

Travelled down from Halifax and had a really nice meal. The cheesy mushrooms were to die for, the Pilpil prawns were wonderful and spicy. The mains were just as good as the starters. The owners Darren and Gill were excellent hosts. The prices were very reasonable.

This was our first trip to Abbots Bromley, so I researched places to eat using Trip Advisor and booked The Coach and Horses. We were not disappointed. The staff were friendly, the service good and the food was fresh and well cooked. A lovely Saturday night meal, even though the pub was not very full due to the very cold...

Very pleasant landlords in center of lovely village, recently and nicely redecorated. Nice bar, average food but superior tapas (of all things English). Plentiful adjacent parking.
