Excellent seafood

A very high standard of seafood but very pricey! A lovely atmosphere, but the concept is really only bar food (very good selection if you like fresh and wild seafood). Well worth a visit, we will certainly be back!

We researched for the best seafood in Ireland and found this place, and knew we wanted to visit since we would be in the area on our way back from the Cliffs. We were not disappointed! As seafood lovers we have had some pretty amazing seafood from around the world, and this meals ranks up as one of my favorites.... More

This used to be an iconic place. The seafood quality on our last visit was very disappointing. The staff were very nice and understanding but if mussels are overcooked there is not much they can do about it.

We stopped off on the way home from Galway last Wednesday. I had delicious clams & chowder. Aidan loved his oysters and fried sole & chips. The service was professional and attentive. Even though there was a bus tour of Americans eating also there was no delay. The owner called by and said hello! Well done-we'll be back next opportunity.

They were busy. Too busy to greet us, or seat us. I rarely post reviews, but the lack of service was worth noting. The most unwelcoming establishment we visited while in Ireland...

First time having oysters was here and I loved them! Also ordered baked goat's cheese which was top notch. Atmosphere is cosy and homely. Service is good. Yes, the food is a bit pricy but it is excellent. Their baked bread is delicious and they serve you a small bread basket to begin with. For the main meal we ate... More

We stopped here on our way in to Galway. It was October, so outside dining was not an option. You might think you are lost just before you arrive, but it is worth the detour. The food was really good and we always enjoy family run establishments. As you sit at the tables, you can imagine what it would be... More
