We stopped here on our way in to Galway. It was October, so outside dining was not an option. You might think you are lost just before you arrive, but it is worth the detour. The food was really good and we always enjoy family run establishments. As you sit at the tables, you can imagine what it would be... More

Loved this Restaurant and it didn't fail to disappoint us after all the fab reviews it got. The food, atmosphere and service were fantastic. We couldn't decide what we wanted from the menu as there was so much great choice so will definitely be going back again soon to sample some other choices from the menu..

I really enjoy coming to Morans to have some delicious oysters (my favorite are the grilled wild ones). The place itself has a really great atmosphere and coming there on a lazy Sunday afternoon is simply perfect. The food is great, however I do think some of the mains are overpriced (i.e., the salads) so keep that in mind. Other... More

Moran's is just one of the best eating experiences in fine seafood dining available on this planet. I have been returning here for over 30 years, and have never been disappointed. Morans treat their customers and their food with the type of uncomplicated respect that keeps people coming back. All their seafood, shellfish especially, is locally sourced. I remember going... Visited Moron's for a surprise Birthday Dinner for a friend living in Galway. Well sign posted and ina beautiful location but, being winter and wet and windy didn't see much of it. I would love to visit here in the Summer months but would predict it would be very busy. The Food is just wonderful as long as you love... More

I love oysters and you can always be guaranteed perfect natural local fresh oysters here. You know they have just been harvested. Morans is an institution and what I love about the place, besides the great good and the lovely service us the fact that there are no televisions here , either in the bar or restaurant. Nice background music... More
