We recently had a meal here on a very busy Sunday, the staff could not have been more helpful. One of our group had limited mobility and the staff went to great lengths to bring out the food and make our trip very comfortable. Their crab claws are just superb and their brown bread delicious. Followed by Irish Coffee's which... More

If you have not visited this restaurant for over 15 years you will be in for quite a surprise! The last time I went there it was very small and select and the food was just exquisite. The food is still absolutely superb but the place has quadrupled in size. The expansion has been done extremely tastefully and from the... More

We have been here several times and love it. Yes it is expensive but for what you get it is worth it. Perfection. Staff are very friendly and good at their job. For me Morans is a little piece of heaven and I look forward to going back.

We were advised to eat here by neighbors from Ireland. It was the only restaurant they told us to go to in our two weeks and Ireland and we understood why. Besides the beauty of the area, the oysters were superb and the service matched. We were a little worried we would have difficulty finding it but the signage on... More

After too many hours in the car driving north from Valentia Island, Co. Kerry, we stopped in at Moran's for lunch. The oysters were perfect - fresh, cold, and tasting of the sea! The crab on brown bread was wonderful, and the Guinness was refreshing! A little bit out of the way, but worth the effort!!

We have been visiting Morans annually on our way to visit friends. We stopped as usual and shared the seafood platter. The Marie Rose sauce has too much tomato sauce and the prawns are frozen. We got two crab claws and the crab wasn't anything as good as we get in Kerry. The service is very good. There is no... More

My sister & I started our 10 day self guided tour of Ireland at Moran's. We loved it soooo much that we also ended our adventure here too. The best oysters I've ever had & some of the finest Guinness in the land. Our server was delightful & helpful.

Our innkeeper recommended Moran's on our way back from the Cliffs of Moher, and we were glad we listened. The fish and chips were the best we have ever had. If we go back to Galway, we'll definitely return for an encore at Moran's.
