As locals we don't venture into Hastings Street very often. Recently my husband took me to Sails for lunch on a Sunday. Had the perfect table at the front to enjoy the view. The food and service are always excellent. We have been to Sails a few times but it would have to be one of the best restuarants in... More

A perfect Noosa day, a swim, dry off and wander up to a fantastic restaurant. Sails has been the venue for the last two of my wife's birthdays and it never disappoints. Our server, who's name escapes me, was superb. She was knowledgable, enthusiastic and great with our son. We had specials of the day, salt and pepper duck, which... More

Beautiful setting, excellent service and of course food that is both delicious to eat and brilliantly presented. On the night, I went with the blackboard menu and was just bowled over with the charcoal grilled Mooloolaba Swordfish as a main. It's not overly pricey and compared to other "5 star" restaurants we have eaten at was good value for the... More

We had a wonderful meal here to celebrate our honeymoon and were pleasantly surprised. The food is outstanding in terms of both quality and portions. My husband had the lamb which was divine and I had the pasta which was so rich in flavor that you are assured to enjoy! We will definitely be back on our next visit to... More

Had visitors from South America and they stayed on Hastings St, they saw the restaurant and the fantastic location and booked to take me there on their last day. Everybody ordered differently and we were all so disappointed, minute portions and so bland. When my main meal arrived it was three overcooked scallops on a plate with some salsa drizzled... More

My experience with 3 girlfriends was very disappointing...we booked for for dinner here after 4 days of eating out for breakfast, Lunch and dinner - we had saved this as a special indulgence for our last night, we were bitterly disappointed!! We found it to be over rated, over priced...the food was bland and very average as was the atmosphere... More

Great food (although the menu could do with a refresh for repeat diners), awesome location, fantastic service. Recommendation: book early, ask for a seat at the front, 1st booked gets the best seats.

The food at Sails is very good, as is the wine list and the cocktails. The staff though, it is like a roll of the dice, you don't know what you will get. When we arrived for our 6.30pm (about 10 minutes late) booking we noticed many empty tables on the outdoor undercover area facing the ocean. We kindly requested... More

Thank you for your recent feedback. I am disappointed that you felt uncomfortable at your allocated table and even more so that we had given the impression that we did not care. We do endeavor to offer the best tables available but do give preference to bookings made in advance. Having said that I can understand that the way this... More

My husband and I were on holidays in Noosa looking for the best restaurant to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. After eating at a few other restaurants in Noosa during the week we were very disappointed. We decided to try Sails, looked perfect for the occasion, booked a day ahead and requested a table at the front of the restaurant... More
