We got takeaway from Kaali recently, and even my fussy, English curry-loving father-in-law was impressed. Highlights were the Krispy Korn Kernels and the Peshwari Naan. One of the best naans I've had. The curries were all flavorsome, and didn't all taste like the curry sauce had come out of the same pot. Very well priced, especially when compared to the... More

We ended up there randomly and I'm glad we did! (This was about a year ago but I never wrote a review and thought I should!)The dishes in the menu looked alright so we decided to try it. Definitely well priced for Noosa and one of the best indian food i've had in Australia. Yes service is not that great,... More

Probably the best Indian food we ever had, and it is reasonable priced too for a place like Noosa that full of overpriced restaurants for tourists. Every dish we ordered were so tasty, i suggest you to make bookings early as its always packed. The service is not great, the two waitresses there were pretty inexperienced and the boss/floor manager... More

We both love Indian food so were looking forward to this enormously. Initial impressions were not great, a dirty plate and badly tattered menu. But it's the food you come for, sadly we found it bland and boring. A really excellent naan bread, but the chicken tikka masala was bordering on insipid and the other main dish so unmemorable we... We visited this place purely based on the glowing reviews on TripAdvisor, and were not disappointed. My husband is obsessed with Indian food - the hotter the better - and this was his birthday dinner. The initial impression wasn't great, as we were at our table for a good 5 minutes before menus and water were brought out, but everything... More

What a feast we had for dinner. The staff was very friendly and the menu was great. They gave us poppadoms and chutneys because we agreed to change our table for a larger group and we thought that was very nice! All the dishes were cooked to perfection and had a fantastic dinner. The set up is great with little... More

Went to Kaali at the bottom end of Hastings street no 2 on a Saturday night and was surprised to see only a few people at tables so I checked Tripadvisor and found good reviews! The restaurant is BYO but we really enjoyed the flavors of the meal without washing down with alcohol. We had signature Camembert dish crisp and... More

We are a family of five and have experienced quite a few Indian meals over the years, but this one is certainly one of the best that we have ever had. The taste and quality of the food was outstanding added was the outdoor seating, tree lined street all lit up with fairy lights. Make sure you book a table,... More
