I always thought Kali was the Goddess of death and destruction. Nothing could be further from the truth! In a town like Noosa, where the vegetarian is pretty much on his/her own, what a delight to find delicious, Mumbai style Indian delicacies with the magic word on the menu. Yes, vegan choices are clearly marked and the proprietors are happy... More

Whilst we've had lots of good indian food in Melbourne and Sydney, Brisbane and surrounds have always disappointed - until now. When in Noosa do yourself a favour and take the family to Kaali. The Indian food is full flavoured and rich in taste, without being heavy or too creamy. Lots of choice here and great hospitality from the husband... More

This was the best indian I've ever had!. Lots of different things to choose from, which is a nice change. Had the signature range...stuffed eggplant was divine!. Nothing bland here, lots of spices & flavor! Maybe just a tiny bit salty, but that could just be me as I eat low salt. Nann bread was excellent. Service great. They did... More

A small restaurant but very authentic indian flavours. The Lamb Shanks Kashmiri were excellent and great value at $24 for two shanks. This is an eat in or take away restaurant.

A negative is having to pay for pompadums ($5 incl a sauce) which is usually on the house. Onion baiji to start was amazing. Slightly imperfect chicken for chicken tikka to start but this always happens in Indian restaurants and was only thing that brought food down from an excellent. Main chicken breast chicken tikki and beef balti so flavoursome.... More

We attended this restaurant on a spare of the moment and really enjoyed the meal. Very tasty dishes and we were really happy to see slightly different items on the menu that we hadn't tried at our local indian restaurant. Being from Melbourne and on holidays in Noosa, we were not disappointed in the meal we had and will be... More

Though that was explicitly asked for, the food served was a far cry from the Vindaloo strength one would expect from a Gourmet Indian restaurant...

We are from the UK and love Indian food, we are travelling around Oz and have just eaten here and it is the best we have been to. They use breast of chicken and we had Butter Chicken and Chicken Madras. The Madras was ordered hot not not over the top and was spot on. Plenty of chicken, lots of... More

Loved this little restaurant situated at the quiet end of Hastings St. We had 2 meals here over a 4 day stay in Noosa and both were delicious-authentic sauces ( not laden with cream) and tender meat. Friendly service. Don't miss this restaurant when visiting Noosa if you like Indian food!
