The new cool in Noosa dining is at Gaston Bar Bistro. A stylish and edgy fit out, the restaurant boats an incredible selection of food and wine. The service is relaxed and friendly. Snacking is something Gaston excels in. If you are just dropping in for a glass of Ribeauville pinot blanc or a Peroni - hit the Chinese chicken or the pizzetta or maybe a little iron pot of sizzling garlic prawns to share.

Great Bistro dining

The food here, like the atmosphere, is vibrant. It's an incredibly busy restaurant and judging by the clientele, a favourite for group dining. Although we were a couple, we loved the mix of patrons - young and not so young, and the tables turn over regularly. The food was great - the garlic... read more

We were lucky to get a table at this very popular restaurant - nice bar area that we chilled in whilst waiting for a table to be cleared, and delicious food that we would highly recommend. Worth making the effort to book your table!

Ate here tonight with five friends. Food was absolutely delicious. We have travelled Australia for 7 weeks and this is by far the best meal we have had!! Exceptional value for money. Service was impeccable. You simply have to go here if visiting noosa...or visit noosa solely for the restaurant!

Went this arvo with my husband and had the nachos and margarita deal $30 bucks - I thought it was a serve to share and we had two platters (one for each of us!) - nachos were yum and margaritas awesome -we just spent 4 weeks in Mexico and Gaston didn't disappoint!! Have had breakfast and lunch there before it... More

My sister and I came arrived in Noosa in February and this was the first restaurant we ate in and it was simply THE BEST. We often have a bit of trouble finding places to eat as my sister is a vegetarian, and a fussy one at that, so we were delighted to see this restaurant had a couple of... More

Had made no booking, and despite the fact that they seemed booked out- the wonderful staff made sure we were settled at the bar and kept us up to date as to availability of table. (We did not care as there is great ambience and it gave us time to go over the menu - only waited about 20 minutes)... More

An outstanding evening all round. We ordered from both the specials menu and the a la carte and everything was exquisite. My partner and I have been lucky enough to visit a few Michelin starred restaurants and this easily compares in the quality of the food and service, but at a fraction of the price. Our waiters were absolutely great... More

My partner and I visited Gaston for a Friday evening dinner. We were delighted by every aspect of our evening. We shared the trout sashimi and dumplings to start followed by barramundi and ox cheek. We finished with a delicious cheese plate. Our waiter suggested a great bottle of wine & the service was top notch all evening. Everything was... More

We had the special for dinner, two mains and a bottle of wine $55, absolute bargain. The prawn pumpkin feta pinenut spaghettini was absolutely stunning, the sauce was not to rich and the prawns were a very decent size.

Popped in for Coffee, on route to Main Beach. Extremely accommodating staff very laid back nice atmosphere spoilt by a delivery truck parked directly outside for the duration of our stay. Didn't eat but other customers looked like they were enjoying well presented food. Coffee was nice, would go back and have been since.
