The new cool in Noosa dining is at Gaston Bar Bistro. A stylish and edgy fit out, the restaurant boats an incredible selection of food and wine. The service is relaxed and friendly. Snacking is something Gaston excels in. If you are just dropping in for a glass of Ribeauville pinot blanc or a Peroni - hit the Chinese chicken or the pizzetta or maybe a little iron pot of sizzling garlic prawns to share.

Try the dinner for 2 + wine special

Saw the blackboard ad for the special so went back to give it a try. $55 for 2 main meals and a bottle of either red or white wine. Only glanced at the menu because the special had a good choice of meals and the red we chose was fine for what you'd expect as part of a deal. Can't... read more

The service from the moment we walked up to this al fresco style restaurant was very impressive. The staff were very attentive and knew the menu inside out describing many of the dishes and the days specials in detail. The food was exceptionally good too with some exquisite flavour combinations. We dined here for lunch and were very tempted to... More

Good value (for Noosa standard) set lunch which includes a glass of wine. Food was fresh and tasty. Although not on Hastings street it is well located and has an open al-fresco dining experience. Would go again.

We passed through here for our final breakfast before leaving Noosa last week. The smashed avocado with a side of bacon was delicious as was the full breakfast. The coffees were lovely and the service friendly - definitely recommended.

Dinner for 4 Friday night @ 6.30pm finished at 8.15pm. Immediate reaction was very noisy and tables small. During dinner the table would not handle having side dishes, wine and water glasses. Lots of families with children and very busy. Service was quite reasonable. Menu varied with small tapas plates very nice. Entrees very nice with duck rolls excellent. Mains... More

My favourite place to eat in Noosa! I was recommended this restaurant by friends and family from Melbourne and wow - so glad I listened to them :) Pork Belly Salad, dumplings of the day, parfait are all spectacular. Great wine list and staff educated on both menu and wine list. Staff are just great - service is the best... More

I had a full of flavour, fresh Bahn Mi and my husband chose the Pulled Pork baguette for lunch. We both enjoyed our meals and this together with the friendly serving staff made for a happy visit to Gaston.

Stopped by with family and wasn't disappointed. Great beer and food, would recommend to all. It being off/on a corner of Hastings street makes it seem out of the way from the main drag, don't let that put you off as it is a great place to eat.

Dinner for two a main each plus a bottle of wine for $55 what a great deal. Food was fantastic, choice of four mains, the mushroom risotto was really good as was the flathead dish. The wine was a very good quality also, the service was great. Will be going back soon.

We have eaten here a few times after a great day at the beach in Noosa. The food never disappoints and the service is great. They look after the kids well with paper table cloths for drawing on and don't mind a custom request for fussy ones. Be sure to grab the bench seat if you plan on taking the... More
