The new cool in Noosa dining is at Gaston Bar Bistro. A stylish and edgy fit out, the restaurant boats an incredible selection of food and wine. The service is relaxed and friendly. Snacking is something Gaston excels in. If you are just dropping in for a glass of Ribeauville pinot blanc or a Peroni - hit the Chinese chicken or the pizzetta or maybe a little iron pot of sizzling garlic prawns to share.

We had lunch here one day. Tempura Whiting with chips and salad and with a beer as well. Lunch time special was $19. Well worth the money. Hubby got a steak sandwich and loved it as well. Meals weren't huge, but they were enough. As with all food in Noosa, the food was fresh and the service was excellent.

In a busy time at Noosa we turned up and were found a table to seat 7. The food was very nice indeed - the park hock and sweetcorn fritters a highlight. A little noisy to start with but settled down. I liked the wider range of half bottles - a good idea to help match wine and food together!... More

Had breakfast here recently and we found both the food and service very ordinary. Given the range of places in and around Noosa we wouldn't bother with here again. The kids pancakes were very dry and more like cakes, the smashed avo and chilli was okay. The best description I can give is ordinary.

We decided on Gaston for lunch because the wine menu looked well thought and it was a great choice. Relaxed, but attentive staff who knew their menu, and were happy to help made it a really relaxed enjoyable experience. We had barramundi dumplings (awesome), salt and pepper calamari (super tender), and spaghettini with prawns, chilli and chorizo, super tasty. Of... More

Loved our recent meal at Gaston. We had an exceptionally friendly waitress, the type you'd like to sit and chat all night with. She couldn't though as the restaurant was busy with diners.. The food menu was great with a variety of small entrees and share options. The stand out for us was the lamb ribs. Lip-smackingly delicious. The wine... More

We were a large group who stopped by for a late lunch at Gaston. Staff were attentive and friendly, with good knowledge of the menu. There was a small delay in the food being served, but we were informed of this and a reason why, and then because It was Easter they gave us all Easter eggs while we waited.... More

I was visiting Noosa with a friend from overseas and Gaston was on the way to our apartment so we thought we'd give it a try as it seemed to be buzzing. It was a Monday night and they were offering a deal, 2 mains and a bottle of wine for $55, you can't go wrong with those prices. They... More

Very attentive service and really good meal. Enjoyed a beautiful eye fillet, daily dumplings (should have ordered more) and kids loved the pizzas. Drink lots of water as the venue is open to the heat! We did however miss the magician -who is apparently overseas-kids were disappointed!

Visiting Noosa Heads with friends and we had to return to our favourite spot. We weren't disappointed it is still great! Delicious food and they still offer the $55 for two mains and a bottle of wine! Best to book as its very busy and no wonder! Great menu with plenty of options.
