Description: The new cool in Noosa dining is at Gaston Bar Bistro. A stylish and edgy fit out, the restaurant boats an incredible selection of food and wine. The service is relaxed and friendly. Snacking is something Gaston excels in. If you are just dropping in for a glass of Ribeauville pinot blanc or a Peroni - hit the Chinese chicken or the pizzetta or maybe a little iron pot of sizzling garlic prawns to share.

We went with a bunch of friends for the special - a meal for two for $55 which included a bottle of house wine. We'd booked but hadn't been told that the special didn't apply for school holidays - maybe we should have asked. Place was packed at 6.30 when we arrived but our table was ready. The waiter asked... We were very happy with our choice for dinning out in Gaston. The food was very good and the service as well. Prices on the high side, but again we have seen this pretty much everywhere in Australia (we r from Spain). The place was full, you could tell this is a popular choice and we understand why. Would definitely... More

We luckily got a table on our first night in Noosa during the busy Oct long weekend. We were blown away by the food and service and we ate there 3 times. Staff were fantastic and even recognised us by the 2nd & 3rd visit that weekend. For dinner we had the special dumplings - seafood and XO scallops- these... More

Ate here tonight for the 4th time. We've had 3 dinners and 1 lunch. Staff are attentive, courteous and friendly. Lunch special is a must - main course and a beer/wine for $19. Dinner menu is varied with tasty specials on the nights we went. Prices not too exorbitant (unlike round the corner on Hastings Street) - excellent atmosphere. Good... More

Whilst I wouldn't rank this as a "goto" restaurant, it certainly isnt a "second option". The elevation of the seating makes it the perfect "people watching" restaurant. The menu includes a great selection of delicious "tapas" style entrees which is inevitably what we order. Combining multiple delectable tastes into an exciting meal. Lunch time specials and an exciting wine list... More

Had the special which was 2 mains and a bottle of wine for $60. Excellent value for this part of the world. Both meals were excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend a visit.

Our first time. Four of us enjoyed four different mains and all were exceptional - the service was warm, welcoming and fun! We will return.

This place looks a bit "cafeteria like" from the outside but was really good. The staff were all friendly and chatty, suggesting things to do and see around the area. The beef cheeks were fantastic but my partners Steak wasn't really a $37 steak.... I suspect they ran out of their usual eye fillet. An Affogatto to finish off was... More

We went to Gaston last night just for some dessert and were thoroughly impressed. The desserts were full of flavour and showed signs of class as did our waiter James. He was enthusiastic, fun and very helpful. Thank you for helping to finish our night on a high!
