The new cool in Noosa dining is at Gaston Bar Bistro. A stylish and edgy fit out, the restaurant boats an incredible selection of food and wine. The service is relaxed and friendly. Snacking is something Gaston excels in. If you are just dropping in for a glass of Ribeauville pinot blanc or a Peroni - hit the Chinese chicken or the pizzetta or maybe a little iron pot of sizzling garlic prawns to share.

pleasant surprise

A nearly stylish, but not blatant restaurant. Extraordinarily attentive and friendly service. Good choice of wines. I had a fresh, crisp rocket salad with parmigiano for starters, which tasted like in Italy. The barramundi I had for the maincourse was definitely one of the best fish dishes I had... read more

Great night out with delicious food and ambient surroundings. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Wait for food wasn't too bad even though they were full. Would dine there again in the future.

Food is fine, nothing special but totally fine. Waiters had serious attitude. We were 2 families of 4 for dinner. Kids 12-16 all well behaved and sat at the end of the table chatting quietly all evening. We arrived on time. We all had 2 courses. Kids all had adult meals. We had drinks including pre's and wine for the... More

The food here was ok but it was expensive for what we had. It is fully licensed. We had several tapas and a couple of wines the bill was over a $100 so not a cheap eat. Service was ok food ok Good for a quick snack... You can get full meals as well.

Went here on our first night in Noosa mainly because it was one of the few eateries open late; it did not disappoint! The service and ambience were excellent, but the real highlight of the evening was the very best and most superbly presented seafood we were to enjoy during our stay in Noosa. Highlights included exquisite ginger scallops, crab... More

The service was fantastic from booking to leaving. The entrée and main meals were delicious and value for money. Staff were friendly and knowledgable when describing meals and were also happy to offer other places to try for dessert nearby. Would definitely go back (and get the same thing- seafood dumplings and crab spaghettini)

We recently had lunch at Gaston and were amazed by the quality of service. Our waitress was very friendly and paid great attention to detail. Water glasses were constantly refilled without asking, food arrived without delay and was delicious. The lunch menu was excellent - a great dining venue.

We recently went to Gaston Bar & Grill in Hastings Street, Noosa. As we were a large group, we were surprised at being accommodated at very little notice. It is very casual, very busy, and I feel the meals were very rushed and, in no way, did the quality of the meals reflect the prices we paid for the food.... More
