Bangers and mash - poor. Caesar's Salad - poor. Wine okay but not worth the money. Staff disinterested and hardly any about. I know it was lunchtime but La Vida can do better, and should. It's in the famous Hastings Street and we tourists do deserve better. Also no ambience because the place was nigh empty. Oh dear!

Had dinner in early November. After strolling up and down Hastings St, we thought La Vida looked very inviting. We were so glad we did. The atmosphere of the restaurant was so stress free and relaxing compared to other parts of Hastings St, I would have marked the restaurant up on ambience alone. But the food was also sensational. We... More

The food here is always reliable and the early bird specials are always amazing. The lovely Hastings Street Sidewalk atmosphere makes it part oft his beautiful Noosa road with it fairy lit trees. The food is basically Italian and I never been disappointed.

We were dining quite late on the Saturday night of the weekend of the G20 in Brisbane. Our reservation was for 9.15pm. The restaurant was packed inside & out. Always a good sign. We were dining with two other couples and we were an additional late invite. The restaurant had no problem with adding a couple of chairs to the... More

Dined as a couple and chose the early bird special where diners must be seated and order before 6 pm. Price was $39 per person for 2 courses and included a glass of wine. The main course selection was elther fish (barramundi) or lamb shanks. The food was good basic fare with entirely adequate sized portions. The dining area is... More

we loved the food. Couldn't eat all of our shanks. The service was friendly, wine went down well and outlook was great.

We had lunch here on a magnificent Spring day. The waitresses were on the ball and had us seated in no time. Cold water was brought to the table and orders were taken within a few minutes. I had the Fisherman's Plate and my wife had satay chicken skewers with rice. Both dishes were of good quality and nicely cooked.... More

We went to La Vida during September holidays. It was very busy but the waitresses were fantastic. They suggested what we may like and the accompany wine. The Oysters and Barramundi were very fresh and did not disappoint

We enjoyed a dinner here and it was okay and well priced for Noosa. They had high chairs for our son and he was welcomed by the staff. Service and atmosphere are okay. We had a platter of tapas and while the food was tasty and passable the individual items didn't go together well.

We returned to this restaurant having visited last year. It was every bit as good as before. We also went because it was in our entertainment book, but returned for a second visit, happy to pay the full price. Excellent. Food, wine and service.
