Good solid Queensland restaurant

Portion size was good but the featured duck was over cooked. The meals came out quickly which may suit some but wasn't what we were lookin for.

I Didn't plan to dine in this restaurant and came across it accidentally. It was worth stoping by food was beautiful and service was good as well. Will go back there again on my next visit. The only criticism they could of have a nice music for ambience.

On par with the best dinner ever. Seafood platter was huge and all delicious, while sticky date pudding was to die for. Service could not have been better. Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu. Would highly recommend!

the duck which was their speciality dish was horrible - dry and tasteless, chowder also not great, service offhand.

Although wanted to be different and try some of the specials on offer it was our first visit and so had to choose the seafood platter for two. It was the best I have ever had. Fresh crab, prawns, oysters, bugs, baby octopus, barramundi. Yummy dipping sauces and the only fried item fantastic calamari. Heaps to eat and were too... More

This is a great spot for an al fresco lunch. The prices are pretty decent, especially considering the large serves. I had a delicious Turkish roll with chicken, while my partner had the seafood basket. I kept eating all his seafood! Definitely a winning choice. I can't speak for dinner service, but it was a lovely lunch spot conveniently located... More

Make sure you bring a healthy appetite to this restaurant.....the serves are very generous and the food, delicious, rustic and value for money in Hastings Street. My husband and I shared a scallop entrée....8 scallops....unheard of in Brisbane restaurants, usually 3 are the norm and 4 served at most. They were cooked perfectly and a good size to share. My... Located right on Hastings Street. Great position. We went during the International Food and Wine Festival. You would think that would be the perfect time to put your best foot forward. Sorry to say, that this one took a step back. Food was average and our waitress gave the impression that she would have preferred to be somewhere else. Staff... More

Of all the great restaurant options in Noosa , we chose La Vida. Very disappointed. Great friendly service , on the special board was Seafood Chowder so we both ordered that. Cold wet night we were expecting something very special. Got water down broth with potato cubes and Prawns that hadn't been de veined, disgusting.. who doesn't devein Prawns. Awful... More

We came for the Moreton Bay Bugs which were great as expected. All dishes served were good portion sizes, quality and tasty. We would recommend the gnocchi dish and also the scallops. Only let-down with the food was that the chowder was not served with any bread. You could of course buy some bread, but the near $10 price tag... More
