After enjoying the Tram ride we had planned to have lunch here. Checked their website and they are supposed to open Wednesday to Sunday. Well you can imagine my frustration when we go to turn into the driveway and 'closed' is the welcome. Really disappointing as we had hoped to enjoy a meal based on Trip Advisor reviews. We had... We are very sorry for your unfortunate trip to our estate. We had a sudden death in the family, and we have not thought of changing our website, we should have. But we have informed the local visitor Center about the closure until the end of September. We hope to see you next time when your in pemberton. Regards More

very nice place with load of space for the kids to run away and play in the great playground. The food was pricy but delicious and huge serve, we will be back

We had a beef cheek and the salad, which together made a great meal for the two of us. The wine was pretty decent too.

Well I have been to Hidden river for meals the past few years & it was always a favourite, with new owners having just taken over I was a little apprehensive as to wether the food would still be as good, well it was divine & a credit to the new owners, the slow cooked Beef cheeks are a real... This was our first visit since our old friends Phil and Sandy sold it several months ago so we were interested in the changes the new people had made. The view was the same, of course, lush green meadow then the dam and the impeccably set up vineyard in the distance, row after row of vines, bare now after the... More

Enjoyed our return visit here after eight years. Excellent food service and wine. Good outdoor activities for kids even our older children made use of some of the equipment. A separate area for families in the old railway carriage is a great idea.

Combining a rammed earth building for tasting with a verandah and tram for dining was inspired. We dined on a foul rainy day and it was nice to be warm. The kassler was good but goat fetuccini lacked substance. Nonetheless, we were happy to be made warm and welcome.

We last went here a couple of years ago and were not sure what to expect given we knew the place had new owners. We were not disappointed. I had a very tasty slow cooked beef and my wife was very happy with the cauliflower soup. The food was super and service extremely friendly and helpful. The setting is not... More

We recently visited the picturesque Hidden River Winery. It is an ideal setting in which to enjoy a tasty lunch and an excellent Chardonnay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant and grounds were fresh and well maintained. There is a lovely view towards the dam. The new owner-chef told us he is sourcing local products and adding... More
