Here at the earl of spencer, we see ourselves as a family friendly venue. We have a large beer garden that is non smoking, kids play area which will be updated this summer, live music every friday from 8pm & Sunday from 5pm and an all day menu that will be starting the second week in December. We have great selection of bottled cider and imported English, Scottish and French beer. We only sell Local Wines, which are all from the Great Southern Region. All of our meals area cooked to order, so our moto is, great food takes time.

Good portions

Attended on a cool Tuesday night. Fire was burning and there were several patrons present. Menu was balanced, food was a generous portion and was value for money. Service was good and the delivery of food was within a reasonable timeframe.

This visit was the third time my wife and I have been to this 'English pub'. The first twice was about 18 months ago on our second visit to Albany, where we had excellent food, good service and an interesting time. WE are not sure what has happened in the interim period, or maybe it was a one off bad... More

Found this place by accident whilst driving around, looked cosy from the outside so booked for dinner at 6pm, when we arrived busy already which was a surprise as the night went on, the place was full. A lovely historical house 1884, lovely atmosphere and warmth, staff friendly and service was good. Had 3 course meal which we all thoroughly... More

This restaurant/pub is a great little spot to visit for a drink or a meal. We went for dinner quite early, 530pm and it was quite busy but the service was really great. The staff were really friendly and created a really relaxed atmosphere. The food was really good, especially the chilli mussels, and a decent portion size.

Friday night Anzac eve adjacent to some armoured corp veterans we had great pie ,good drinks and an enjoyable evening. This is obviously a popular haunt for locals after a weeks work so it's little loud but fun. The only down side was the calamari entree, avoid at all costs!

An old historic house that has been a restaurant and bar for quite a few years. Very nicely maintained and presented throughout, there is a variety of seating and table arrangements in the various areas such as adjacent to the bar or in more secluded rooms. The bar serves a big range of boutique beers both on tap and bottled... More

Really enjoyed the food, great atmosphere too but the waitress let you down! We were looking for r&r not listening to some lady rambling on about her family court issues and how she had to stab someone. Would come again for the food if the service was better.

The eating experienced ere was fine. Friendly staff, quick service and meals were as described. quite noisy but fine for us as we could still chat easily. Plenty of room. Nice fire.
